A Study On The Supervision Of Ride-hailing Service In Xiangyang City

With the continuous development of Internet technology,ride-hailing service has come into being.Compared with the difficulty of hailing a taxi,the advantages of ridehailing service are notable for effectively solving the communication barriers between passengers and taxi driver,by combination of APP technology and traditional taxi service under the pattern of“Internet+”.In addition,ride-hailing service effectively integrats new mobile internet technology,such as mobile payment,Alipay,WeChat and other high-tech products and services,thus providing convenience for passengers.On the other hand,some insecurity threatens it brings are to be aware.Due to the rapid development of ridehailing service platform,its legal supervision is still in a difficult state.In terms of government supervision,conservative management thinking and model appears to be traditional single and entails a great many defects,which can not adapt to the rapid development of online car booking service and the high quality requirements of passengers.First of all,the background of the emergence of ride-hailing service is described and at the same time,the current research situation at home and abroad is analysed.Secondly,the concepts of cruise taxi,Internet taxi,access mechanism and government supervision are exposed,and traditional management thinking and mode of the theory of government failure and market failure are explained.Thirdly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the supervision of ride-hailing service in Xiangyang City.Fourthly,the current situation and problems of ride-hailing service supervision in Xiangyang City are analyzed.Finally,the solution of the problem is given.During the research,the methodologies of literature research and questionnaire survey were used comprehensively.The problems were analyzed from the perspectives of access mechanism,laws and regulations,current situation of practice and so on,and from the perspectives of establishing a good price system,strengthening platform examination and approval,and strengthening social propaganda,solutions can be reached.Current reaserches are rarely from the perspective of government management but still mainly based on the study of laws and regulations,for ride-hailing service is still arelatively new business.Therefor,the research can fill the gap,giving some solutions and providing a reference for similar research,by analysing the current situation of Xiangyang City's ride-hailing service from the perspective of government management.
