Work values are the internal needs and value judgments of employees,which are manifested by the attitude tendency,behavior rules and goal pursuit in the process of individual work.Many studies have shown that work values reflect employees' work motivation.The present literature focuses on the study of the work values and job performance of the knowledge staff and the new generation of employees.The application of work values in state-owned enterprises and their employees is seldom discussed.After implementing the classification reform of state-owned enterprises,the state-owned enterprises are divided into commercial and public welfare categories.The public welfare state-owned enterprise bears an important mission due to their nature of social public welfare and serviceability in the development of state-owned enterprises.Its operation directly affects the social equity and stability of our country.Compared with commercial state-owned enterprises,the value orientation of public welfare state-owned enterprises is more obvious.The establishment of its value system is more effective to motivate the employees.Therefore,from the perspective of work values,it is necessary to discuss what factors affect the performance of employees in public welfare state-owned enterprises in order to be able to prescribe the right medicine and effectively encourage employees to increase their morale,operational efficiency of the organization,and the overall strength of state-owned enterprises.Through using the methods of literature review,this paper constructs the research ideas and framework of the article.On the basis of value theory,incentive theory and public service motivation theory,and combined with the special nature of the public enterprise,this paper sets up the work value system of public enterprise.The system includes five dimensions: safety and stability orientation,career development orientation,prestige orientation,interpersonal orientation and altruistic orientation.Secondly,the scales of work values and work performance of the employees in public welfare state-owned enterprises are developed,and the questionnaire is compiled in combination with the contents of the scales.Empirical analysis of the relationship between work values and the employees' job performance in public welfare state-owned enterprises are analyzed by using the method of questionnaire survey and the statistical analysis of data.Through empirical analysis,this study has concluded that the work values of public welfare state-owned enterprise employees have a significant positive impact on job performance,and the dimensions of work values have a significant positive impact on each dimension of work performance.According to the conclusion of empirical analysis,in order to improve the work performance of public welfare state-owned enterprises,this paper from the aspects of enterprise system construction and cultural construction,the matching of values of employee and enterprise,and the introduction of value management to performance management,etc.The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in order to provide guidance for the performance improvement and encouragement of the public welfare state-owned enterprises after the implementation of classified management.
