Research On The Evolution Of Corporate Intellectual Property Capabilities

The development of corporate intellectual property capabilities is an evolutionary process from nothing to low and low to high.It is of great significance to study the evolution of intellectual property capabilities.For enterprises to clarify the level of intellectual property capabilities,identify key issues in the development of intellectual property capabilities and respond to them in a targeted manner.Based on the capability life cycle theory and continuous innovation and discontinuous innovation theory,the evolution of corporate intellectual property capabilities is divided into four stages: incubation period,growth period,plateau period,and transition period.It expatiates the autonomy and motivation of the evolution of intellectual property capabilities.Through the combination of industry life cycle and curve fitting,an identification method for the evolution stage of intellectual property capabilities was constructed.And five companies are taken as examples for specific applications.Finally,it systematically analyzes the key problems that may be encountered at each stage of the evolution of intellectual property capabilities and proposes corresponding countermeasures.
