It is undeniable that employee's s voice behavior plays an important role in enhancing the competitiveness and promoting the sustainable development of the enterprise.However,"is the voice behavior beneficial to the improvement of employee's work performance?" There are different answers to this question,Therefore,in order to clarify the relationship between them,first of all,based on the perspective of self-awareness,this paper introduces self-efficacy as an intermediary variable,workplace exclusion as a moderating variable to build a theoretical model of employee voice behavior and work performance.Secondly,through 223 questionnaires of grassroots employees in enterprises,using SPSS and Amos software to conduct empirical research and draw the following conclusions:(1)Voice behavioris different in demographic variables(2)There is a significant positive correlation between employee's voice behavior and work performance.Meanwhile,there is a significant positive correlation between the two dimensions of voice behavior,include promotional voice behavior and inhibitory voice behavior and the two dimensions of work performance,include task performance and relationship performance.(3)The positive effect of voice behavior and work performance is produced through the intermediary variable of self-efficacy,Among them,there is a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and voice behavior,meanwhile,there is a significant positive correlation between two dimensions of voice behavior and self-efficacy,that is promotional and inhibitory voice behavior have positive correlation to self-efficacy,and positive correlation between self-efficacy and work performance.(4)Workplace rejection negatively moderates the relationship between voice behavior and job performance.That is,when workplace rejection is high,the positive effect of voice behavior and job performance will be weakened;otherwise,the positive effect of voice behavior and work performance will be enhanced.
