| Digital Innovation shows the trend of ecology,and the research and development of big data and artificial intelligence continue to deepen.Digital Innovation has become an important way for enterprises to enhance their core competitiveness.The construction of digital innovation ecosystem has become a new way of enterprise development,but the theory research lags behind,so how to effectively construct digital innovation ecosystem needs to be deeply studied.In this respect,this paper aims to answer the following question: How do companies achieve high-innovation performance and high economic performance in building a digital innovation ecosystem,that is,what are the configuration of the factors affecting the performance of digital innovation ecosystems? In this paper,we use case analysis,qualitative text analysis and fsQCA and other research methods to answer these two questions.Based on ecological theory,this paper analyzes the population and flow of digital innovation ecosystem,and constructs its analysis framework.The population of digital innovation ecosystem includes digital product / service producer,network operator,research institution,platform and consumer,and the flow includes economic flow,technology flow and relationship flow.This paper selects the digital innovation ecosystem of 31 artificial intelligence listed enterprises as the research object,and selects the companies' website news as the research data.We use the python program to clean the news item.And qualitative text analysis is used to encode the collaborative news,and then the statistical data of ecological population and ecological flow are obtained.Finally,the data are calibrated by FSQCA and the configuration model is obtained.This paper identifies three patterns of high innovation performance and two patterns of high economic performance.In the digital innovation ecosystem,the population determines the main structure of the system,and the ecological flow reflects the relationship between the main bodies,which are the indispensable parts of the ecosystem that determine the performance of digital innovation ecosystem.The empirical results show that,firstly,there are multiple concurrent relationships between the promotion of enterprise innovation performance and financial performance under the influence of ecological population and ecological flow.Secondly,the comprehensive configuration is easier to improve the performance of enterprises,which means the diversity of population and flow can better promote the performance of enterprises.Thirdly,relational flow and technological flow are the most obvious advantages of digital innovation ecosystem and the necessary ecological flow to improve enterprise performance.Fourthly,the difference of ecological size between enterprises will lead to different paths to improve enterprise performance.This paper mainly contributes to the following three points.At the level of the research framework,the introduction of ecological populations and ecological flows depict the resource interaction process between core companies and participating companies from a micro and comprehensive perspective.In terms of corporate performance research,this paper validates the performance of core companies on the innovation ecosystem influenced through the linkage matching of ecological populations and ecological flows.At the methodological level,this article introduce configuration thinking into the research on the performance of digital innovation ecosystems.It breaks through the single-case study use the configuration thinking behind QCA to combine ecological populations and ecological flows. |
