Under the new normal of the economy,the urban-rural economic dual structure in the Yangtze river delta region has not been fundamentally changed as the time frame of poverty eradication is approaching,and the unreasonable distribution of financial resources between urban and rural areas has to some extent caused the widening of the urban-rural income gap.The development of inclusive finance in the Yangtze river delta region has always been in a leading position in China.The Yangtze river delta region is also the one of the most promising integration region for China to take the lead in narrowing the income distribution gap and realizing common prosperity.How to correctly develop inclusive finance in the Yangtze river delta region and guide the rational allocation of limited financial resources is of great significance.This paper first sorted out the previous literature on inclusive finance,sorted out the construction methods of the index system of inclusive finance at home and abroad and analyzed its impact on the urban-rural income gap.The development level of inclusive finance in 27 central cities in the Yangtze river delta region from 2006 to 2017 was calculated by selecting eight indicators from three dimensions.Cluster analysis was carried out based on the panel data of various indicators of inclusive finance,and the development level of inclusive finance in cities in the Yangtze river delta region was compared as a whole and in different regions.The result of financial inclusion calculation shows that the level of financial inclusion in the Yangtze river delta region is improved year by year,but the difference is large.The level of financial inclusion in Shanghai is much higher than that of other cities.In contrast,although some economically underdeveloped cities have a low starting point,their growth rate and multiple are much higher than Shanghai.Through cluster analysis,the cities in the Yangtze river delta region can be divided into three categories according to the development level of inclusive finance.Secondly,according to the connotation of rural-urban income gap,the status quo of rural-urban income gap in the Yangtze river delta region is calculated by theil index,so as to prepare for the empirical analysis in the following paper.In from the Angle of the theoretical analysis in this paper,the pratt &whitney financial mechanism of urban and rural residents income gap,on the basis of regression model using the method of empirical analysis to build the panel study pratt &whitney financial impact on the income gap between urban and rural areas,and return by shapley decomposition method,compare pratt &whitney financial three dimensions of the contribution of the income gap between urban and rural areas of difference between city size.The empirical results show that:(1)the development of inclusive finance in the Yangtze river delta region on the whole can improve the continuous expansion of urban-rural income gap in the Yangtze river delta region;(2)regional differences exist in the impact of inclusive finance mechanism of urban and rural residents income gap;(3)the influences of service permeability,service availability and service utility of inclusive finance on urban-rural income gap are different.Finally,this paper proposes corresponding policy Suggestions based on the above conclusions:(1)improve the design of inclusive finance system and promote the development of inclusive finance;(2)implement differentiation policies based on regional differences;(3)build a multi-level financial market and reasonably arrange the penetration level of inclusive financial services;(4)create differentiated financial products and increase the availability of inclusive financial services;(5)optimize the function of financial services and enhance the utility of inclusive financial services.
