Promoting the coordinated development of cities and the coordinated promotion of urban agglomerations is an important part of the national regional development strategy. The key to diagnosing problems and optimizing countermeasures is to correctly reveal the characteristics of urban spatial mobility, which is also the key to achieving sustainable development.Starting from the connotation and characteristics of the element flow and the flow space, this paper not only analyzes the current situation of the flow space in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration, but also the economic flow in the flow space of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration from the spatial scale of the prefecture-level city. The traffic flow and information flow are comprehensively evaluated, and their spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics are analyzed. The driving mechanism of the flow space in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration is discussed from the theoretical level, and the driving factors are empirically tested by the geo-detector method. In order to provide a new perspective for the scientific decision-making of the regional development of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration. The research shows that the economic flow, traffic flow and information flow in the flow space of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration are on the rise. The regional differences in economic flow intensity and traffic flow intensity in the flow space of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration are more obvious, and the regional differences in information flow intensity are smaller than those in the economic flow intensity. The spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics of the flow space in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration under the factor flow measure are obvious, and the stability of the regional flow space needs to be strengthened. The overall density of the network of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration urban agglomerations is small.Among them,Changsha is a core city with the strongest external radiation capacity and significant diffusion effect. The flow space in the urban area of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration has weak decentralized features, obvious hierarchical features and obvious point-axis features. In theory, the underlying drivers can be summarized as internal and external factors, including the development of social productivity, the improvement of transportation networks, the advancement of communication technology, and the innovation of science and technology, all of which have played an external role in the formation of regional mobile space; The upgrading of industrial structure, the extension of industrial chain, and the behavior of local government are the internal factors that promote the formation of regional mobility space. The use of geo-detectors to empirically test the driving factors of the flow space in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration shows that both internal and external driving factors play a certain role in the formation of regional flow space. The internal driving factors of the regional Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration are mainly social productivity, science and technology and communication technology;external drivers mainly include local government behavior, labor endowment and industrial structure. Finally, combined with the conclusions of theoretical analysis and empirical research,it provides relevant reference suggestions for optimizing the regional mobile space of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration.
