Study On Characteristics And Formation Mechanism Of Manufacturing Industries Agglomeration In Changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan Urban Agglomeration

Manufacturing agglomeration is a number of related manufacturing enterprises and institutions, in order to obtain more competitive advantages, relatively concentrated on the geographical position. With the development of the industrialization, the manufacturing industry agglomeration is much more obvious, Which provides powerful force for the development of regional economy. Researching on manufacturing agglomeration characteristics and formation mechanism is highly significant to the direction and strategy of the entire region’s economic development.Changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan urban agglomeration is an important growth pole of the rise of central China strategy, and now is in its middle and later stage of industrialization, manufacturing is the absolute power of industry of changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan urban agglomeration. Using the externality theory, the industrial location theory, the new trade theory and the new economic geography model and the porter’s diamond theory, the paper is based on changzhutan manufacturing economy datum by using location quotient and HHI coefficient to measure manufacturing agglomeration industry, and analyzes its characteristics. To build the influencing factors index of the effect of the manufacturing agglomeration of changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan urban agglomeration, and build a regression model to analyze the dominant factors that affect urban agglomeration’s manufacturing agglomeration, researching on its formation mechanism preliminarily. Finally puting forward to the development initiatives guide the manufacturing agglomeration of changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan urban agglomeration. The results show that:(1) First of all, the manufacturing of changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan urban agglomeration is the existence of agglomeration. It’s overall level is not high,and it presents the trend at first and lowered later.
