Small and medium enterprises(SMEs)plays a vital role in the growth and development of any country.It is therefore critical for any country,especially developing countries.It is essential for all SMEs to enhance its own employees to reach for growth and sustainability and stop their frequent turnover.A lot of managers begin to pay strong attention to exactly grasp the employee satisfaction.This paper is researched based on this background.This thesis firstly stated the political,environmental,economic and cultural status of Yemen SMEs th en reviewed the status of employee satisfaction evaluation,analyzed the definitions,characteristics of SMEs and employee satisfaction,then analyzed the necessity of researching on employee satisfaction of SMEs.Based on this,this thesis stated the gene ral process of employee satisfaction evolution of small and medium-sized enterprises SMEs in Sana'a,Yemen.The data was collected from 300 employees at different job levels in different departments in these enterprises.Data was analyzed through factor analysis,descriptive analysis,correlation and regression analysis and model to evaluate SMEs employee satisfaction was created.Social Science Statistics Package(SPSS version 18.0)was used for analyzing and interpreting the data.Factor analysis was use d to condense the data of many variables into just a few variables.It revealed a model of influencing factors of Yemeni SME employee satisfaction evaluation which illustrated mainly 8 factors including Organizational culture,Supervision,Relationship bet ween employees and colleagues,Salaries & incentives,corporate culture,Political and economic situation,working environment,and the intellectual and employees' scientific affinity and work nature.Then a regression of the data was made to create the best model to evaluate employee's satisfaction.This model has 6 factors which were Salary& incentives,organizational culture,Supervision,Relationship between employees and colleagues,working environment,and employees intellectual and scientific affinit y and work nature.According to the statistical analysis of the entire data,these 6 variables that were mentioned previously showed an impact on employee satisfaction by up to 36%.Finally,this thesis has established measures to improve and rise Yemeni employee satisfaction evaluation.It is also a useful attempt of employee satisfaction of small and medium ? sized enterprises analysis,and attempts to provide some reference for employee satisfaction of small and medium ? sized enterprises.
