With the acceleration of economic globalization,the production efficiency,cost and product quality of large companies are great significance to the company's competition in the same industry.The 6Sigma quality management gradually was formed in the 1980s,which is customer-centered and can optimize production processes.And also,the 6Sigma quality management can effectively improve the company's production efficiency and product quality,reduce costs,and have highly competitive management methods.Many companies have used the 6Sigma quality management and achieved remarkable results.W company is a company that produces electronic components.The products are exported to overseas.However,with the increase of raw material cost and labor cost,the company's profit is slower.In view of this,enterprises urgently need to introduce new quality management methods.Thus,W company carried out 6Sigma management to enterprise reform in 2011.After several years of 6Sigma quality management practice,W compan achieved good results.However,with the continuous application of the theory,there have also been problems such as the formalization of quality improvement activities and the inability of the activities to be sustained in the long run.If these problems cannot be solved in time,it will affect the continuous improvement of the quality construction of enterprises.This paper first introduces the research background.The purpose of W company's was decision to adopt 6Sigma management method for quality management.Then we introduced the origin of the 6Sigma management method,basic theory and related tools.We also introduced the DMAIC model adopted in this paper.This model is divided into five stages of definition,measurement,analysis,improvement and control,which was to ensure the quality of the products.On the basis of a large amount of literature research,we conducted the use of literature research method,comparative analysis method,to analysis with W company product quality status,quality management status and quality management.In addition we illustrated 6Sigma management method.The company's application shows that the five steps of DMAIC can reduce the non-performing rate of W company's products,thereby achieving cost savings and economic benefits.Finally,it evaluates the quality improvement effect of the 6Sigma management project of W Company,and points out that the management method is difficult to meet in the domestic company,and further proposes improvement measures.This paper tries to solve the key factors that may affect the quality of the company's production process and proposes relevant measures by the analysis of the specific project process after the introduction of the 6Sigma management method by W Company.It is hoped that the continuous improvement will improve the quality of the products produced by the company.At the same time,it puts forward the problems and solutions that may be encountered in the implementation process,and hopes to play a certain reference and reference for other companies in the selection of 6Sigma management method for enterprise product quality and service quality optimization reform.
