Impact On Chinese High-tech Industry Technological Innovation From Industrial Agglomeration

High tech industry has the characteristics of knowledge intensive and technology intensive.Its development and innovation are directly related to the transformation and upgrading of China's industry and the construction of an innovative country.With the rapid growth of China's economy,the regional differences of high-tech industries have gradually expanded,showing the phenomenon of industrial agglomeration to the East in space.The spatial agglomeration of high-tech industry can improve the capability of technological innovation through the spillover of knowledge and technology among enterprises.Therefore,this paper takes the high-tech industry as the research object,studies the spatial agglomeration characteristics of China's high-tech industry,and the impact of high-tech industry agglomeration on technological innovation ability,and provides feasible suggestions for promoting the innovation development of China's high-tech industry.This paper systematically analyzes the relationship between high-tech industry agglomeration and technological innovation in China.On the basis of summarizing the research results and theories at home and abroad,this paper defines the connotation of high-tech industrial agglomeration and technological innov ation.On this basis,the agglomeration of high-tech industry is divided into three types: specialized agglomeration,diversified agglomeration and agglomeration enterprise interaction mechanism.The influence mechanism of these three types of agglomeration is discussed respectively,that is,specialized agglomeration promotes technological innovation from two aspects of formal or informal knowledge spillover and labor market sharing;diversified agglomeration can meet different preferences of consumers The interaction mechanism of agglomeration enterprises is to promote the technological innovation of high-tech industry through the mutual exchange and cooperation between similar enterprises and different enterprises,and to maintain the monopoly position of innovation.Based on the analysis of the theory,this paper puts forward three hypotheses: first,specialized agglomeration helps technological innovation;second,diversified agglomeration promotes technological innovation;third,the interaction mechanism of agglomeration enterprises also promotes technological innovation.In order to test the above hypothesis,this paper constructs the specialization index,diversification index and market competition index to analyze the agglomeration of high-tech industries,expand the knowledge production function,and use the random effect model to draw the following conclusions;First,through the measurement of the national high-tech industry specialized agglomeration level,diversified agglomeration level and market competitiveness index,it is found that the high-tech industry shows obvious spatial agglomeration characteristics,and the high-tech industry agglomeration level and economic development level show a positive relationship.That is to say,in the economically developed areas,the level of high-tech industry cluster is relatively high,and in the areas with relatively backward economy,the level of high-tech industry cluster is relatively low.Moreover,high-tech industries are mainly concentrated in the eastern region,and the western region has a low degree of concentration,and there is a large gap between regions.Secondly,by using the panel data of China's provinces and using the random effect model,the empirical test shows that there is a positive relationship between the high-tech industry professional agglomeration and technological innovation,that is,to some extent,the professional agglomeration is to promote the technological innovation of high-tech industry.The same interaction mechanism of diversified agglomeration and agglomerated enterprises also promotes technological innovation,and as a result,diversified agglomeration will have a greater positive impact on technological innovation,while the interaction mechanism of specialized agglomeration and agglomerated enterprises has a smaller impact on technological innovation.Third,based on the analysis of the current situation and empirical research,this paper puts forward some relevant suggestions for the relationship between high-tech industry agglomeration and technological innovation ability.
