Employee Performance refers to the extent to which a worker fulfills the requirements required in the job description. Most significant element of job performance is the goals accomplishment.Efficacious workers are the one who complete their work within due time, improve sales, and build positive interaction with customers. In a market where organizations strive for gaining the competitive edge in the market, most of the organizations are working on providing a friendly environment to their employees so that they could easily work on strategic goals in order to accomplish.During, employees also require perks and benefits which when acknowledged from employer results in motivating the employees.Among such perks and benefits satisfaction and job security are the significant factors as if they are not fulfilled by the employer consequently will result in dissatisfaction and job switch. To overcome such hurdles organizations are doing their best to accomplish and besides there is an extensive literature on employee motivation and job security however, most of the studies has not considered both the factors simultaneously(Edward et al.,2020).Additionally,in an economy like Pakistan where organizations are in a pace of gaining edge in the competitive dynamic market, there is a lack in academic literature on whether these factors combined effect the performance of employees in a workplace in Karachi? Therefore, this study has attempted to analyze the impact of motivation and job security on employee's performance. The main objective of this research was to analyze the key factors like personality, attitude and perception which motivate the workers and job security which assist the organizations focusing specifically on the context of Bank like Habib Bank(Ltd). Those objectives are given below:To analyses what could be done for the betterment of motivation and achievement of optimum outputs for the betterment of both the employees and the banks. To examine the results of motivation on job performance in the context of Habib Bank Employees. To investigate, that up to what extent the motivation is able in meeting the employees demands As the knowledge regarding employee performance is based on natural phenomena so the study has opted for positivist philosophy because the above hypothesis has been developed based on theories of motivation of Maslow's,Mc Gregor,Content and Process Theories.Apparently, this study is closely related to the deductive approach because of its quantitative nature and positivist philosophy. This study also adopts the survey strategy because it is mainly based on survey the data has been collected through survey and it allows the explanation of theory through facts and figures. This study was based on the conclusive design because it is investigating the relationship between variables of the motivations, performance and job security. The target population from whom the data was collected are all the employees of Habib Bank(Ltd.)Peshawar,Pakistan.In order to conduct the survey,I had only surveyed those employees who are willing to respond or in other words convenient non-probability sampling technique has been employed. So,a total of 350 employees has been surveyed.Job performance has been taken as dependent variable in this study while motivation, job security and demographic factors has been considered as independent factors. With a multifactor questionnaire the survey has been conducted in order to analyze the impact of motivation and job security on job performance of employees in HBL(Ltd.).To do so,different constructs for each of the variable has been developed such as job performance, motivation and job security.Apparently, all the major factors have been operationalized by putting them on a 5Point Likert Scale(Edwards et al.,2020).Due to nature of our study which is descriptive in nature,we used structural equation model(SEM)exploratory factor analysis.Because this study aims to investigate the structural association among the factors. This model is the mix of regression and factor analysis,it is widely used to examine structural association among the measured factors and latent constructs. This technique is the combination of factor analysis and multiple regression analysis,it is majorly used to analyze the structural relationships between measured variables and latent constructs.AMOS software and SPSS software are the most beneficial ones for findings of this study and for the running of the SEM model.Reliability statistics has been performed on pilot data in order to check whether the instrument used for survey is reliable or not.The value of Cronbach Alpha of 0.990 indicates that on overall basis the instrument for data collection is reliable. The outcomes reveals that both job security and motivation has a storng effect on job performance. In other words,it has been observed that one unit increase in motivation increase the job performance by 0.34 percent however one unit increase in job security leads to increase in job performance by 0.38 percent. It has been observed that job security comparitively influences the job performance more than motivation.Additionally,it has been observed that work enviroment has a significant impact on employee's job performance however, work enviroment has more crucial impact on employee's motivation than job security. Finally, income has no impact on employee's motivation. As the job security has a significant positive impact on employee performance, thus, managers are required to ensure the security of employees by drafting employee contracts.Such contracts help in better performance of employees.Corporations via their system of management must improve the capacity building of their staff by continuous training sessions and refresher courses with a motive to improve the skill set enhancement and employability.Additionally, corporations need to engage their employees in decisions related to organization's as it provides confidence to employees thus increasing both the level of motivation and job security in order to perform effective and efficiently.Lastly, corporation's management needs to develop policies which mitigate the probability of termination in the contract of their employee earlier to the expiry of termination.Like a clause to be formulated that particularly declines the chance of ultimate termination of the contract of an employee and hence improves the job security of employees.
