With the urban development and social progress,urban residents' demand for a better living environment is becoming stronger in recent years,meanwhile steel mills has been criticized for environmental pollution.As for Baosteel,located in Shanghai,the discharge of pollutants up to standard,the self-disposal of waste generated,and the ability enhancement of city serving have become an urgent requirements for future survival and development.Baosteel has to build itself into a "city steel plant" to achieve being alive in Shanghai.Through the construction of the waste disposal device and the function advantages of iron-making furnace,using technology development and production test,breaking the restrictions links and getting through the consumption path,the waste generated internal can be disposed more properly.This also help solving the problem of harmless disposal of some city wastes,realizing the resource and energy utilization of plant and urban wastes,and laying a foundation for the construction of "city steel plant".This not only has significant social benefits,but also may bring considerable economic benefits.Whether from Baosteel internal or the city outside,the specifications and properties of waste are not uniform.In order to dispose as many waste species as possible on a large scale in blast furnace,a waste disposal device must be built to meet the conditions of logistics transportation and recycling in blast furnace.However,there are many ongoing technical renovation and construction projects in the surrounding area of blast furnace,and the nearby material yard and road must also ensure the normal operation of production,which puts forward higher requirements for the implementation of the whole project.As the project carrying forward,we should optimize the progress and construction of various projects as far as possible,reduce the interaction with other projects and production operations around the site,shorten the construction period and save costs,therefore an effective management system to manage the project is needed.According to the construction project of the waste disposal device in blast furnace of Baosteel,with project management knowledge as the foundation,combining with the domestic and international project schedule management theory research and present situation,the applications of project management theory in the practice of engineering project have been illustrated.With the activity decomposition,sorting and schedule estimating,and project schedule tracking and control,help the process management running through the whole process of the project,avoiding the project management process deviates from the expected goals.By summarizing some problems and defects in the operation of this project,this paper provides some references for the process management of similar projects in the future,especially for the construction projects of industrial and urban wastes disposal in iron and steel enterprises.
