With the rapid development of the market economy,the automobile industry in our country has been developing rapidly while the mass material and cultural needs are constantly improving,and the market competition of the automobile industry is becoming increasingly fierce.This is also a huge competition and test for auto parts manufacturing enterprises.They must not only face the challenges of many competitors in the same industry in the market,but also face the double pressure of interrupting customers’ demand to lower product prices because the prices of raw materials are rising.This requires the production enterprises to improve the comprehensive interests of the enterprises in the market by improving the production efficiency and reducing the production cost on the basis of ensuring the product quality.Car bumper assembly line balancing based on M company as the research object,the company’s overall production capacity can’t satisfy the order demand,capacity imbalance in each process,especially the assembly link capacity has restricted the company production capacity has increased,the production process of personnel and equipment utilization rate is low.In view of this problem,this paper studies the main causes of the problem by using the relevant theoretical methods of industrial engineering,and puts forward the improvement plan.The main content of the paper is as follows:(1)The production condition of M company is analyzed,and the short board which restricts the production capacity of the company is determined to be the assembly link of bumper,and the assembly line is determined as the main problem point.The "bottleneck"position on the production line is determined by measuring the working procedure.(2)For the assembly line,time research method is used to determine the working hours of each station,calculate the balance rate of the production line,and determine the "bottleneck"position of the production line.(2)Aiming at the "bottleneck" station,the existing problems are summarized by using 5W1H method,and the process contents are adjusted by the process program analysis,action analysis,operation analysis,process improvement and recombination of assembly line,so that the working procedure beat tends to be consistent.At the same time,the material distribution on the site,material rack placement and other issues have been optimized and improved.(3)Evaluate the improved effect.After the implementation of the improved scheme,the production time of the bumper assembly line is shortened,the production cycle is optimized,the production capacity is increased,and the production cost is reduced.At the same time,the use of staff hours has also been significantly improved.The improvement of the bumper assembly line,production line capacity for ascension and line balancing for the company laid a solid foundation,but also for M company under the group,other production workshop production line to improve and optimize provides reference significance.
