With the rise of new urbanism, urban planning is facing tremendous innovation, and the construction of cities with high-quality pedestrian levels advocated by it has gradually become an important concept of current urban planning. The level of urban walkability determines the convenience of residents’ daily life to a great extent.Based on meeting the needs of various service facilities required by people’s daily lives, the daily life service facilities and walking accessibility are combined to study City livability and the quality of life of urban residents. From the perspective of urban residents’ daily service facilities, measure and evaluate the city’s pedestrian accessibility, provide a strong support for the reasonable allocation of urban community resources and improve the quality of life of urban residents.Based on basic theories such as New Urbanism and the concept of urban living space quality,Google and Baidu maps are used to extract points of interest(POI),buildings and road traffic data related to daily life service facilities in the urban area of Xi’an,using cumulative opportunity models Urban Network Analysis(UNA,Urban Network Analysis)measures and evaluates the walkability of Xi’an city.At the same time, the economic and population data of the urban area of Xi’an in the same year are obtained, the influencing factors of the pedestrian accessibility of the urban area of Xi’an are analyzed, and optimization suggestions are made. The study mainly reached the following conclusions:(1)The POI walking reachability model is effective for evaluating large and medium-scale walking reachability in China.Incorporate building monomers, road traffic networks, and various POI data into the pedestrian accessibility calculation elements, build a cumulative opportunity model, and implement spatial visualization inconjunction with GIS,which can understand the research in detail from both the macro level and the micro perspective The area’s actual walking accessibility level allows relevant departments to regulate the spatial distribution of residents’ daily infrastructure, make it more rational and convenient, reduce the use of motor vehicles to travel, increase the pedestrian’s walking rate, and improve the urban travel environment.(2)The level of pedestrian accessibility in Xi’an has a more obvious “central edge”characteristic. The areas with the best pedestrian accessibility are mainly distributed in the center of the city, the Old Town of Xi’an,and the “Main Center”is formed mainly by the Bell Tower business district. At the same time, the level of pedestrian accessibility is centered on the Bell Tower business district and gradually decreases. With the diminishing effect of the sphere, the pedestrian reachability reached the lowest level in the fringe area of the urban area. The areas with poor accessibility are mainly located in the Qiaoqiao District,Weiyang District, and local parts of Yanta. The overall pedestrian reachability of Yanta District. It is higher than the other two districts. The areas with the worst accessibility are concentrated in the outer areas of the urban area, mainly covering Liucunbao,Caotan,Yingqiao,Xinzhu,Hongqing,Qujiang, and other streets such as Jiapo,Hongqi, and Dizhai.(3)The needs of urban residents in Xi’an at different levels have not been well met.By measuring the accessibility of daily life service facilities at different levels of demand,it is concluded that the needs of urban residents at different levels in Xi’an have not been satisfactorily met, especially in urban fringe areas, where the quality of life of residents is significantly lower than that in the central area.At the same time, through comparison with the measurement results of the walkability of daily life service facilities of higher demand levels,it is found that the residents’ lower demand satisfaction level is significantly higher than the higher demand satisfaction level, indicating that the daily service facility configuration of urban residents in Xi’an City fails to meet the residents Living needs, unreasonable facility space configuration.(4)"Market-oriented" commercial facilities, such as snack bars, convenience stores, restaurants, etc.,because of their unique functional positioning, are more inclined to gather in some specific areas in terms of spatial distribution, resulting in the walkability of such facilities It shows a clear "centrality" in space. From the measurement results, the areas with better accessibility of these facilities are located in the central area of the urban area, showing obvious "centrality" characteristics. As the center advances to the edge, the accessibility gradually decreases, and the accessibility at the edge of the urban area reaches the worst.(5)“Government society-led” POI facilities mainly include kindergartens and elementary schools, subway stations, bus stations, park squares, libraries and exhibition facilities, and medical facilities. From the measurement results, the regional differences in accessibility of the two types of facilities, such as kindergartens, primary schools, and bus stations, are relatively small, and the distribution is more balanced, which is relatively consistent with the ideal state;Facilities are not as balanced in accessibility as in kindergartens and elementary schools, but they have a more prominent “centrality”feature as “market-oriented” facilities;subway stations are not the same as in the above two cases. The performance is mainly affected by the subway lines. As long as the area with better accessibility is located along the subway line, the area with the best accessibility has a transition point with the two subways.(6)Economic,population,transportation,location and government factors will have varying degrees of impact on the level of accessibility of Xi’an city.Xi’an City can be treated from five aspects: rationally increasing or decreasing the number and types of residents’ daily service facilities, optimizing the spatial layout of residents’ daily service facilities, combining the characteristics of the population to strengthen facility configuration, strengthening the construction of a sound pedestrian transportation network, and establishing a multi-level vitality center system Optimize the walking accessibility level.
