of 485,000 square km.Yuechi County is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Basin.the Delta platform where Qu River and Jialing River meet.It is located in the hinterland of the chengdu-chongqing economic circle.In 2000,after the 1.37 square kilometer Jincheng Mountain Forest Park was added.its area increased from 1,457.09 square kilometres to 1,458.46 square kilometres.Yuechi County County is part of Guang’an’s "quarter-hour economic circle",Chongqing’s "one-hour economic circle",Chengdu’s "two-hour Economic Circle",and the middle of the Guang’an branch line of the completed background.significance,research contents and methods of this paper and the research summary of the impact of the construction of domestic and foreign transportation facilities on regional economy,these theories and reviews play an effective reference role for the following analysis and research.In the second part of this paper,the second chapter explains the theory of the study,including two aspects of the theory,namely the relationship between the economy and trafFic theory and regional development theory.According to the theory of relationship between regional economy and traffic,this paper explains the positive role of traffic to economy,the restrictive role of insufficient traffic construction to economic development and the negative effect of economic development to traffic construction.In the theory of regional development.it also analyses the theory of regional development balance,regional development imbalance and regional development stage.In the third part,it mainly gives a brief overview ofYuechi County’s economic situation and the construction of rural roads.The fourth and fifth parts mainly analyze the impact of Yuechi County highway
