In recent years,China has become more and more closely connected with the world.Especially after General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the belt and road construction,China has undertaken more and more international large-scale engineering construction projects.Therefore,it is of great significance to continuously improve the management level of engineering construction projects to improve the competitiveness of construction units.Due to the late development of project management in China,some places are not as mature as foreign countries,especially some western countries,so it is necessary to study and analyze the theory of project management.Project management covers the progress management,quality management,cost management,and many other content,and in a project schedule,quality,cost factors and is very complex and uncertain,to maximum limit to reduce these factors influence on specific projects,this article through studies of H college internship training center of EPC project,the targets and through the analysis of project quality,cost,time schedule,to ensure that the project is completed,shorten the project period.This paper takes the EPC project of the internship and training center of H university as a case study,combines the theory of project management and relevant theoretical methods of schedule management,and conducts a guiding research and analysis on the implementation process of this project.Combined with H college internship training center own existence,the characteristics of EPC project WBS work breakdown structure method is used,the complex project is decomposed into a series of well-defined projects and carries on the analysis,analysis of the factors that may affect the project progress by using the method of network planning chart to draw out the critical path and finds out the key work,determine the time limit for a project to the project plan.Then carry on the deviation analysis and find out the reason,further carry on the optimization to the construction period,obtains the compression optimization period.On this basis,the progress plan of the project has been very considerable,scientific and reasonable control,and the guarantee measures of the project progress management have been obtained.Through the analysis and research of this paper,it plays a positive role in improving the level of project management and shortening the project duration.Through the combination of project management theory and practice cases,the application of theory in practice is promoted,a scientific and reasonable project schedule is developed,and the EPC project of H university internship and training center can be completed according to the contract period.
