A special way of space division has emerged in contemporary architectural design. It is characterized by adding incompletely closed components or decorations on the vertical level to blur the space into several parts, resulting in a spatial effect of continuity and division in shape. This article refers to this method of fuzzy definition as "semi-limited",and defines the space in which this technique is used as "semilimited space"."Semi-limited" refers to the state of the space that is both continuous and fragmented: the physical space maintains its continuity by communication, creating a sense of separation within the user’s behavior or visual space. This complex spatial effect stems from the increase in people’s needs in space, which is manifested in the more diverse behavior activities and emotional experiences.Through the analysis of the case,it is found that the essence of achieving such a complex effect with "semi-qualified" is to add the number of small spaces inside the physical interface and "virtual interface",thereby increasing the space level and meeting the complex needs of people.Among them, the physical interface affects the complexity of behavioral activities, and the "virtual interface" affects the richness of human visual and psychological experiences. Therefore, this article analyzes from the above two aspects, and combines the case to summarize the "semi-limited" design methods and usage scenarios. The article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the research background and research objects of the subject, and expounds the research methods and research framework of the thesis. The second chapter deals with the concept of "semi-limited";the third and fourth chapters are the core chapters of this article, which specifically introduce the various design methods to produce "semilimited space".The third chapter introduces the "semi-qualified" design of entities that take the complexity of interference behavior as the starting point;the fourth chapter mainly discusses the virtual "semi-qualified" design with the starting point of increasing experience complexity.Chapter 5 summarizes the full text and looks forward to the feasibility of this type of design method for in-depth research.
