| In recent years,relying on customer big data and advanced manufacturing technology,the auto industry has rapidly transformed from extensive mass supply to multi-variety and small-batch production mode.The one who can satisfy the customer’s demand with the best product quality and maximum limit will be able to pursue the higher development in the future.With the demand upgrading of the industrial chain,the production mode of auto parts is also changing to the modularization and multi-variety supply mode.Under the new production mode,it is of great value and significance to study how to improve the balance level and equipment utilization rate of the existing production line,maximize the production capacity of the production line and reduce investment.Based on the problem that the production capacity of S Company’s drive axle assembly line does not meet the new project as the scene,this thesis adopts the theory and method of production line balance such as driver analysis and line balance wall to solve the problem of waste and production line balance in the manufacturing process,and finally significantly improves the production capacity of S Company’s drive axle assembly line.The research content of this thesis is mainly based on the balance theory of production line,according to the determination and analysis of objects,data collection,formulation of measures and effect verification of the logical thinking.Firstly,the background and value of the improvement research are briefly summarized,as well as the related theories of classical industrial engineering,including the assembly line and line balance concepts and methods,Based on the basic theory of industrial engineering,it lays a good foundation for the next application research.Then,according to the action analysis and production line balance method,the production capacity of S company’s existing assembly line is studied and the existing problems are considered.Thirdly,based on the actual scene of the assembly line of S Company,this thesis uses the time balance wall to find out the factors affecting efficiency,such as the bottleneck process and the loss of line change,and makes the improvement measures.Finally,in the effect verification link,the action sequence was rearranged according to the bottleneck process,and the content of the process and the production layout were adjusted.The rhythm of each process was balanced,and the balance rate of the production line was improved.Then the rapid line change method was applied,the visual management of tooling and ergonomics were used to reduce the loss of line change,and the equipment utilization rate was improved.The research focus of this thesis is to improve the current production capacity of S Company’s light drive axle assembly line and optimize and improve the influencing factors of each production capacity of the assembly line based on the knowledge of production line balance.In the end,Company S was able to increase the capacity of the original light drive axle assembly line from 100,000 units to 150,000 units without adding new equipment.In the actual process of production line balancing work,in addition to using the basic theory of line balancing,but also use a lot of improvement process,not only to S company’s site management and economic benefits have made a positive contribution,also has reference value for similar enterprises. |
