As one of the most commonly used vertical transportation equipment in construction operation the tower crane plays an irreplaceable role in improving the efficiency of construction site operation.With the vigorous development of the construction industry in China,the scale of tower crane is rapidly expanding.However,tower cranes are special equipment with complex structure and need to be operated by professional operators.Failure to do a good job in safety management may cause greater casualties and property losses.In recent years,the safety accidents related to tower cranes are frequent,among which the collapse accident is not only a large one but also more destructive than the general tower crane accident.Based on the investigation reports of 120 collapse accidents in China from 2010 to2020,this paper firstly summarizes and analyzes the time characteristics,accident types and occurrence stages of tower crane collapse accidents.Then,based on fuzzy fault-tree analysis,combined with field experience and literature research,a tower crane collapse fault tree model was established,and tower crane collapse was divided into three types: foundation instability,structure collapse and jacking instability.Based on the statistical data of accident report,the fuzzy fault tree model is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively,and the key risk factors of tower crane collapse are summarized.Then,according to the results of faulttree analysis,a tower crane collapse monitoring scheme based on the Internet of Things technology is designed,and corresponding monitoring contents,indicators and warning thresholds are developed for each key risk factor.Finally,the tower crane collapse risk monitoring system is designed according to the specific scheme,and the demonstration project is selected to implement the monitoring scheme,and the use effect of the system is verified.Based on the tower crane collapse accident investigation report as the research basis,in combination with the fuzzy fault-tree analysis,to build a tower crane collapsed fault-tree model,summarized the general law and the key risk analysis.Based on the Internet of things technology and wireless sensor technology to design the crane collapsed risk monitoring plan and monitoring system,can effectively prevent and reduce the collapse accident of tower crane,for tower crane safety management provides a certain theoretical and practical reference.
