| With the establishment and improvement of the legal system,the legal exchanges in international academic exchanges have become more extensive,and legal English has received more and more attention.English legal texts mainly describe legal phenomena and legal practices.Therefore,the standard features of language,the accuracy of concepts,the objectivity of content,and the logic of arguments are the main characteristics of legal texts.Among them,the widespread use of passive voice is a prominent grammatical feature of legal academic texts.Therefore,when translating English legal academic texts,handling passive voice is also a major focus of translation practice.In this report,the author proposes some specific translation methods to deal with the translation of passive sentences in legal academic texts.In the translation process,the author uses three translation methods to deal with the translation of passive sentences.By discussing the translation of passive sentences,the author hopes to give some enlightenment to the translation research of passive sentences. |
