| This thesis is based on the translation of Machine Learning with Python for Everyone,a textbook on frontier information technology.It focuses on the translation of terminologies in the field of computer science.In order to standardize the terminology translation practice,this thesis analyzes typical examples selected from the translation materials,and discusses how to use appropriate translation strategies and methods to standardize terminology translation in the field of computer science.The analysis is based on the CEA theoretical framework of "comprehension,expression and adaption".At the comprehension level,we focus on tackling the problems of terminology recognition based on various language forms and terminologized daily expressions,and of terminology retrieval based on external tools.At the expression level,we emphasize choosing the most suitable equivalents for these terminologies,ensuring semantic distinction,and handling synonymy in translation.At the adaption level,we discuss grasping the information focus,adding notes,using transliteration and zero translation.The thesis concludes by optimizing the process of terminology translation and standardizing terminology translation in the field of computer science. |
