| The social reality of constant enrollment expansion in colleges and universities boosts a great batch of interdisciplinary postgraduates;however,the interdisciplinary postgraduates would be in a state of “liminality” with ambiguous self-identity and trapped in the dilemma of psychological adaptation after entering the new stage of life and the study of a new field.On the other hand,the interdisciplinary postgraduates have the typical feature of compound talents and they meet the current talent demand at home,so there is of great significance for the cultivation of postgraduates in the later future to help them get rid of the liminality and acquire a better psychological adaptability.With the postgraduates of 2020 Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages of Chinese Language College,Yunnan Normal University,as study object,the paper begins from anthropology to have a study on the psychological adaptation of this group in the liminal period so as to pertinently provide correspondent suggestions and countermeasures for the interdisciplinary postgraduates.The main body is divided into five parts.The first part is about the study background and significance and the analysis of concepts and theoretical foundation,so as to have exploration on the study of previous studies and design the study scheme to provide a relevant basis for the later period.The second part is to have a one-year tracking survey on the psychological adaptation in the liminal period of interdisciplinary postgraduates of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.The study finds out that the overall psychological adaptation of the interdisciplinary postgraduates of 2020 Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages is good,but there is the individual difference for students with different genders,ages and working experience.In general,males’ psychological adaptation is better than females,and the adaptation level would be higher along with time change.The students with working experience are more optimistic with strong adaptation;while those without working experience would be easier to have negative emotion.The third part is the qualitative research on psychological adaptation in the liminal period of interdisciplinary postgraduates.Through profound interview and observation with the recording form of campus ethnography,the paper further analyzes the existing problems and influencing factors of the psychological adaptation of interdisciplinary postgraduates.The fourth part is the suggestion raised from the perspective of individuals,the university and society during the three stages,preliminal,liminal and postliminal to enhance the psychological adaptation of interdisciplinary postgraduates and improve their psychological adaptation,expecting to improve the psychological adaptation of interdisciplinary postgraduates in all aspects and in the whole process,so as to provide help for the effective management and cultivation of interdisciplinary postgraduates.The fifth part summarizes the experiences and shortages of the study based on the theoretical interpretation,data statistics and qualitative analysis of campus ethnography mentioned in the previous chapters,and it would have an expectation on the study direction in the future. |
