Research On The Supply Of Elderly Service In Jincheng Urban Community

Population aging is a common social problem which will faced by all countries.In recent years,Chinese aging has accelerated and the number of aging population has grown rapidly.The population movement in the process of urbanization has led to an increase in the number of empty-nest families,weakening the function of families to provide support for the elderly,and increasing social pressure on the elderly.Community care has become an effective measure to alleviate the pressure of social elderly care,because it can enable the elderly to obtain convenient care and aging in place.Community care will become an important support for the life of the elderly who live in the urban community.Economic development has improved the welfare of the elderly,the demand for community care services for the elderly has increased,Shows high-level,differentiated and diversified characteristics.However,there are problems in the supply of elderly care services in Jincheng urban communities,that affects the access to elderly care services and hinders the construction and development of community care services.Therefore,it is necessary to find solutions as soon as possible to improve the supply of community elderly care to match the needs of elderly care services,and promote the balance between supply and demand of community care services.This article explore the problems in the supply of elderly care services in Jincheng urban communities,based on demand.This paper adopts a field survey method,using questionnaires to investigate the needs of the elderly for 17 service items in 4 categories.The results found that the demand for elderly care services in Jincheng urban communities is at a medium level,and there are obvious differences in age,physical condition,number of children,etc.Based on the survey results,the article analyzes the supply from policies,capital investment,personnel supply,facility construction,and specific service items.By comparing the supply of community elderly care services with the actual needs of the elderly,it is found that there are many problems of supply of elderly care services.Mainly reflected in: It is shortage of the services that elderly are much needed;the specialized services in a low level supply;the service in a low level and the items are single.The reason for these problems is shortage of funds and talents;lack of the demand-orientation and the supplier did not reach a cooperation.Therefore,it is necessary to increase the supply of community and broaden financing channels;accelerate the construction of elderly care service talents;establish a unified community elderly care service management standard;actively mobilize all forces to participate in the construction of community elderly care services,clarify responsibilities,and coordinate with multiple forces.Demand-oriented,improve the supply of elderly care services in Jincheng urban communities,promote the balance of supply and demand,and improve the welfare of the elderly.
