Analysis On The Influence Of Urbanization On Pension Industry

At present,the problem of providing for the aged in China is rising with the deepening of the aging of the social population.As a country with the largest number of elderly people,we urgently need to promote the development of the old-age industry and solve the problem of providing for the aged efficiently and completely.Although the difficulties are heavy,the process of industrial rise is often accompanied by opportunities.With the development of urbanization,the regional population structure has changed,thus expanding the consumption demand for the aged,and at the same time gradually improving the development environment of the aged care industry through manpower and investment;This makes the old-age care market demand broad and promising.As a new industry,it will gradually meet the needs of customers,and at the same time,it will drive the development of related industries and form a growth pole to support regional development.This paper studies the impact of urbanization on the development of China’s pension industry,which can not only strengthen the theoretical research foundation,but also provide useful guidance for the current industrial transformation and government policy making,and has important theoretical value and practical significance.First of all,this paper combs the related literatures and theories of pension industry,and on this basis,analyzes the influence mechanism of urbanization on the development of pension industry.Secondly,through the relevant data,this paper analyzes the current development of pension industry.Thirdly,by constructing an evaluation index system,the development level of pension industry in 30 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities in China from 2012 to 2017 is calculated by entropy method,and the differences are analyzed from the national and sub-regional perspectives.Finally,the impact of urbanization on the development of pension industry is empirically analyzed by constructing a static panel data model,and the robustness is tested.The results show that: First,the overall development of the pension industry is good,the scale of the industry and its proportion in GDP are increasing year by year,and the number of employed people is constantly increasing,with a good development momentum.Second,on the whole,the development level of China’s pension industry is on the rise from 2012 to 2017,but the regional development level is obviously different,and the overall situation is decreasing according to the east,west and east.Thirdly,the empirical results show that urbanization has significantly promoted the development level of pension industry.Among the control variables,the per capita GDP has less influence on the development of pension industry,and the family dependency ratio is significantly positive.In order to better promote the development of pension industry,we should pay more attention to the level and quality of urbanization,and give full play to the pulling effect of urbanization on the development of pension industry.Specifically,we can consider the following aspects: First,strengthen factor guarantee,improve infrastructure and improve the level of urbanization development.Second,pay attention to regional differences and inter-regional development.Third,standardize the market order and create a good environment for the development of pension industry.Fourth,improve the construction of talent team and improve the quality of employees.
