| Basic-level government civil servants are the ultimate executors of various national livelihood policies and directly affect the implementation and implementation of policies. At the same time, they are also front-line workers in local public affairs. They play an important role in the implementation of the purpose of public service by government departments. The role of substitution. In my country, there are a large number of civil servants in the grassroots government, accounting for a large proportion of civil servants(more than 60%),but their work faces the masses directly, the workload is large, the work is difficult, and they often face various emergencies,so they are also under pressure. If the pressure on the grassroots civil servants is too great,it will have a negative impact on their daily work, reduce their work motivation, and affect their work efficiency. In recent years, reports on basic-level civil servants have gradually increased, and society has become more aware of the real situation of their work, and they have also paid more attention to the work of basic-level civil servants. At present, there are not many studies on the influencing factors of the work pressure of the grassroots civil servants in our country. Therefore, the research on the factors affecting the work pressure of the grassroots civil servants has important practical significance.Based on work stressor theory, cognitive interaction theory,JCDS theory, and stress response theory, combined with actual survey and interview results, this research defines the basic-level civil servants and work pressure in this research, and designs a survey of basic-level civil servants in Jincheng City.Questionnaire to investigate and analyze the work pressure of basic-level civil servants in Jincheng City. The study uses difference analysis to determine whether the dimensions of work pressure and work pressure sources are significantly different in different demographic variables, and analyzes the correlation between work pressure and work pressure sources in various dimensions through linear regression models.Through empirical research, this thesis finds that the work pressure faced by civil servants in the basic-level government of Jincheng is at a medium level. There are no significant differences in gender and position variables in the dimensions of basic-level civil servants’ work pressure and work pressure sources in Jincheng City;there are significant differences in the variables of age, education level, school type, major and nature of work;in terms of marital status There are significant differences in the variables of,working years, and hometown. In addition, the research also found that five dimensions of work pressure sources: organizational climate, public opinion, family environment, career development, and role conflicts all have a significant positive correlation with the work pressure of grassroots civil servants.Based on the above findings, this paper proposes policy recommendations to reduce the work stress of grassroots civil servants from three perspectives, including the level of the work organisation in which they work, the level of the surrounding social environment and the level of their personal capabilities.Firstly,at the grassroots organisational level, improvements should be made in four areas: the grassroots civil service system, the job promotion mechanism, the performance management system and the organisational climate.Secondly,at the social level,it is necessary to fully understand the work of grassroots civil servants, create a social opinion and trend that is favourable to grassroots civil servants, and provide psychological assistance to civil servants who are stressed at work when necessary, etc.Thirdly,at the individual level,we should exercise and improve the stress self-regulation ability of grass-roots civil servants by learning psychological skills, family communication and clarifying their roles. |
