Research On The Mechanism Of Combining Rule Of Law And Rule Of Virtue From The Perspective Of Good Life

The pursuit of a better life is the eternal goal of mankind,and it is also an meaningful topic that Chinese and foreign scholars have been discussing and researching.With the profound changes in the major contradictions of our society,the people’s new needs for a better life have become the higher goals of the Chinese Communist Party.The combination of rule of law and rule of virtue is an important strategy for governing the country and maintaining stability,and it is also an important guarantee for achieving a better life for the people.Therefore,only by closely combining the construction of the rule of law with the construction of ethics can we guarantee social stability,maintain the country’s long-term stability,and satisfy the people’s expectations for a better life.From the perspective of a good life,we study the current combination of the rule of law and the rule of virtue in our country,so as to explain that a good life requires the combination of the rule of law and the rule of virtue,and the combination of the rule of law and the rule of virtue is an important way to promote the realization of a good life.Through combing through the ancient and modern laws of governance and the good life and other related issues,we can also find that the rule of law and the rule of virtue have different functions in national governance,and the rule of law or the rule of virtue alone can’t achieve the desire for a better life.A good life requires both moral guidance and legal protection.Only when the two are combined can they achieve complementary effects and promote the realization of a good life.First,this article sorts out the theoretical sources of the combination of the people’s good life,the rule of law and the rule of morality,and explains the reasons why the people’s good life requires the combination of the rule of law and the rule of virtue from historical,social needs and the theoretical;Secondly,research on the current situation of the combination of the rule of law and the rule of virtue in the sight of the people’s good life,we can find that the combination of rule of law and rule of virtue has played a positive role in the construction of socialism,which is mainly manifested in: the combination of the two promotes the establishment of a socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics,improved the ideological and moral construction with Chinese characteristics,accelerated the cultivation and practice of socialist core values,and laid a solid foundation for the realization of a better life.In the meantime,the contradiction between the construction of the rule of law and the construction of morality in our country has become increasingly prominent.There are problems of imbalance and insufficiency in the construction of the rule of law,and there are corresponding problems in the construction of morality.The combination of the two forms issues,such as legal omnipotence issue,"pan-moralization" issue,these issues have caused trouble to people’s social life,and to a certain extent affected the process of people’s better life.Therefore,this article analyzes the reasons for the imbalance and insufficiency between the construction of the rule of law and the construction of morals,in order to provide some basis for judgment to promote the balance between the construction of the rule of law and moral construction.Finally,this article further explores the path that the rule of law and the rule of morality are combined to promote the realization of a better life for the people,and puts forward practical and possible countermeasures based on the current situation of social development.
