Research purpose:To study the relationship between the risk of military training injury of army recruits and the performance of physical training with core strength training as an intervention method.Furthermore, the mediating effect of military training injury risk on core strength training on physical performance was further studied in order to provide practical reference and theoretical guidance for army recruits to train more scientifically and effectively improve their physical performance.Methods:40 recruits of an army unit were randomly selected as experimental subjects, including 20 in the experimental group using core strength training, and 20 in the control group using military conventional physical training. The experiment was conducted for 12 weeks,5 times a week.Risk measurement method of military training injury of recruits selected Cook non-invasive functional motor test(FMS)basic motor ability test system to assess potential risk of sports injury.Physical training performance measurement index selected compulsory subjects of basic physical fitness examination of recruits in Military Physical Training and Assessment Outline as test index.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of experiment, the total score of functional test(FMS)of recruits in the experimental group was significantly improved by core strength training(P<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group.Core strength training significantly improved sit-up(P<0.05),horizontal bar pull-up(P<0.05),parallel bar arm flexion and extension(P<0.05),3000 meters(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group;(2)The core strength training kept the same trend of FMS test scores and physical training scores of recruits, and there was a significant positive correlation between sit-up(R=0.849),horizontal bar pull-up(R=0.840),and parallel bar arm flexion and extension(R=0.836).There was a significant negative correlation between FMS score and 3000 m(r=-0.829).(3)In the experimental group, the risk of military training injury had a partial mediating effect on the effect of core strength training on the performance of physical training, and the mediating effect accounted for 26%of the total effect of sit-up,13%of the horizontal bar pull-up,39%of the parallel bar arm flexion and extension, and 21%of 3000 meters.Conclusions:(1)core strength training can effectively improve the FMS test scores of army recruits and reduce the risk of military training injuries;(2)Core strength training can effectively improve the physical training performance of army recruits;(3)There is a positive correlation between the risk of military training injury of army recruits and the performance of physical training.Reducing the risk of military training injury of army recruits through core strength training can also indirectly improve the performance of physical training.
