On The Employment Training Cooperation Of Fujian-Taiwan Young Farmers In Xiang’an District,Xiamen

Fujian-Taiwan employment training cooperation for young farmers is an important way of agricultural cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan and the partnership is about the healthy development of agriculture in Fujian.Taiwan farmer training in recent years has achieved great development,providing human resources for Taiwan agricultural development.Separated from Taiwan by Taiwan Strait,Fujian tries to learn from Taiwan in terms of employment training for young farmers and the cooperation with Taiwan in this aspect is to provide Fujian agricultural development impetus.This paper takes the young famers in Xiang’an District of Xiamen as the research objects and comparatively studies the similarities and differences of agriculture,famers,and young farmer training between Fujian and Taiwan.Through questionnaire survey,the paper finds out that the present situation of Fujian-Taiwan employment training cooperation for young farmers is under stable development.On the basis of major farmer training modes worldwide and according to issues and causes found in the survey,the paper puts forward corresponding measures and suggestions.Firstly,the paper introduces the research background and its significance as well as research contents and methods.The related studies are reviewed,including the meaning of Fujian-Taiwan farmer training cooperation,the characteristics and the present situation of the cooperation,and the experiences and choices of the existing farmer training models.Secondly,the paper briefly describes the questionnaire,comparatively analyzes the present condition of farmer training in Fujian and Taiwan respectively,and summarizes Fujian-Taiwan young farmer employment training cooperation according to survey of the farmers in Xiang’an District,Xiamen.Thirdly,on the basis of the issues in the course of implementing Fujian-Taiwan young farmer employment training cooperation,the paper also points out that the scope of this cooperation is narrow,the speed of the cooperation is slow,and this cooperation is not closely related to higher education and vocational education on agriculture and forestry in Fujian.Major influencing factors of Fujian-Taiwan youth farmer employment training are political reasons,agricultural adjustment policies and the agricultural exchanges among Fujian-Taiwan farmers.Fourthly,based on the above analysis and literature studies,the paper puts forward the solutions.It is important to improve the environment of Fujian-Taiwan youth farmer employment training cooperation,promote the openness of the employment training modes,optimize the cooperative training resources,strengthen the teaching staffs,improve the training mechanism for farmers,and establish the appropriate network communication models.
