LiQuan is a large agricultural county, which has 300000 agricultural population accounting for 79.8% of the population, The overall quality of the peasant plays a decisive role on the development of economy and society. With the development of urbanization and the new situation, the peasants’ training has siginificant meaning on improving the quality of the peasants, speeding up the agricultural development, promoting income, balancing urban and rural development. However, the peasants’ training actually has many problems. It is very necessary to study and analyze the current work situation, mechanism system and the existing problems and the consteaints of the peasants’ training, so that to improve peasants’ cultural literacy, and to cultivate new modern professional peasants with knowledge, technology and management ability.This study expounds the general situation, economic and social development and basic situation of peasants’ training work of LiQuan county. It designs questionnaires of the training,mainly focuses on the investigation of the age, academic structure, traing effect and existing problems and the constraints of the peasants’ training. Parts of LiQuan training institutions’ leadership has been interviewed in order to understand the effect, problem, method,content,etc.There are mainly three modes of LiQuan peasants’ training, which is concluded from the analysis of collected information, that are government-dominant model, enterprise and government cooperation model and market-dominant model. And it contains the government project type, colleges and universities cultivate type, distance education type,park support type, promotion service type and science-technology demonstration type, etc. In the process of training there are several problems that are insufficient training mobilization,less practical training content, lower training quality, outmoded training methods, inadequate training funds,etc. On the issues of these problems, there are several advices to enhance the level of LiQuan peasants’ training, for instances, improving the decision-making andleadership system construction, optimizing the training team construction, rational using the peasants’ training methods, rational programming the peasants’ training content, etc.
