| Information technology has a revolutionary influence on the development of education and has been attached great importance by our country.The Ministry of Education has put forward the idea of "speeding up the process of ICT in education",which marks the entry of ICT in education into the development strategy of informatization in China.The ICT in higher education plays an important role in the process of promoting the ICT in education.The college management informatization is an important part of the ICT in higher education.Adhering to the concept of "promoting construction by evaluation",it is of great significance to evaluate the college management informatization level in order to promote it.However,there are few studies on the evaluation of college management informatization at present.The existing evaluation indicators are mainly oriented to the development of ICT in education as a whole.The indicators of management informatization are relatively simple,and mainly rely on the evaluation of resultant data,ignoring the potential value of dynamic process data to the evaluation.Based on reference to domestic and foreign research literature and policy documents,combining with the concept of data-driven,focusing on the value of process data to the evaluation,this study constructs a data-driven evaluation index system of the college management informatization level,develops a data-driven evaluation system of the college management informatization level integrating big data technology,and uses the indicators and the system to evaluate the management informatization level of a university from a pilot province of ICT in education.The research results of this study mainly include the following three aspects:(1)This study constructs a data-driven evaluation index system of the college management informatization level.Based on the combing and analysis of domestic and foreign literature and policy documents,synthesizing bibliometric method,key indicators method and Delphi method,integrating the concept of data-driven,combining process data and resultant data,the study constructs a data-driven evaluation index system of the college management informatization level.(2)This study designs and develops an evaluation system of the college management informatization level.Based on the analysis of the existing domestic evaluation systems and the understanding of the big data and other related advanced technologies,this study develops a data-driven evaluation system of the college management informatization level integrating the big data technology into the evaluation system,which realizes the full automation of evaluation data collection,data cleaning and processing,comprehensive evaluation and calculation,as well as the visualization of evaluation results,making evaluation more efficient,objective and intuitive.(3)This study carry out the evaluation practice of the college management informatization level based on the system.Based on the evaluation index and system proposed,this study evaluates the management informatization level of a university from a pilot province of ICT in education.This study promotes the revision and perfection of the evaluation index and the evaluation system through the evaluation practice,provides guidance and suggestions for the development of the management informatization of the university based on the evaluation results,and provides demonstration cases for the evaluation practice of college management informatization based on data-driven,so as to promote the research and development of future college management informatization level.The innovations of this study are as follows:in view of the current situation that the evaluation indicators of ICT in higher education are mainly oriented to overall informatization development,and the indicators in management informatization are relatively simple,an evaluation index system specially for management informatization in higher education is formulated,which enriches the index system of management informatization in education in China.Considering that the current evaluation indicators of college management informatization are mainly oriented to resultant data and neglect the value of process data to evaluation,the study integrates the idea of big data and adds process data-oriented indicators to the index system to promote the evaluation to be more comprehensive,accurate and objective.This study develops a data-driven evaluation system for the college management informatization level combining big data technology,which makes full use of the vast amount of process data generated in education management activities,to realize the efficient,comprehensive,accurate and objective evaluation.The system provides strong technical support for the evaluation of management informatization in education.Although this study has achieved some innovative results,due to the limited ability,there are inevitably some shortcomings in the study,which need continuous improvement in the furture,mainly including:(1)Due to the limited number of research schools and consultant experts,some individual indicators in the index system still inevitably have certain deviation.In the follow-up study,it needs to seek more schools and experts advice to make the index system more perfect.(2)Due to the limited human and material resources and the luge workload of college management informatization evaluation system is huge,this study only realizes the system Demo,of which individual modules are relatively simple.Therefore,the system will be improved and upgraded in the future.(3)Due to the limited time,this study only carry out the practice in a university from a pilot province of ICT in education.The follow-up study will expand the scope of practice and improve the index system and system through practice. |
