The research found that the current physical and mental health status of primary school students is not optimistic.Although the state has put forward many policies and optimized school physical education curriculum for the physical and mental health of primary and middle school students,and some quality indicators have rebounded,the physical and mental health level of primary school students in China is still far from the national requirements.Primary school students are basically from 7 to 13 years old,the stage of physical and psychological development of students is not mature,with high plasticity.This study by comparing the Chinese zodiac boxing complete training system with conventional physical education curriculum for primary school students physical and mental index differences,explore Chinese zodiac boxing exercise on children’s physical and mental health influence the actual effect,thus to improve the level of primary school students physical and mental health to provide more effective ways and means,but also for the promotion of Chinese zodiac quan to provide scientific theory basis.This study uses the method of documentation,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathematical statistics,logic analysis,according to the research purpose,from the frustration of the affiliated high school of tsinghua university fourth grade two classes in the selected 50 elementary experiments,according to the sex ratio each selected 25 people in each class,the experimental group to practice Chinese zodiac parry road,offensive and defensive 25 artificial control for regular physical education.The body shape,function,quality and mental health of the subjects were tested before and after the experiment.SPSS21 was used for homogeneity test and normality test of the experimental data,and independent sample T test and paired sample T test of the indicators that met the test were performed.Results:(1)body shape: after the experiment,there was no significant change in the height,weight and BMI of the two groups;(2)body function: the experimental group after 12 weeks of 12 zodiac boxing exercise lung capacity index is better than the control group;(3)physical quality: after the experiment,there were significant differences in grip strength,closed eyes,standing on one foot,and quadrant foot jumping indicators in the two groups(P <0.01),and significant differences in sitting body forward bending indicators(P <0.05).The experimental group was better than the control group,and there was no significant difference in 1-minute sit-ups,standing long jump,and 50-meter run(P >0.05).(4)mental health dimension: the experimental group students’ social adaptation obstacles,bad habits and behavior disorders three dimensions before the experiment has very significant difference(P < 0.01),significantly improve,mood disorders,personality defects,character flaw three dimensions to improve before the experiment,and the control group in the social adaptation obstacles,character flaw,behavior disorders three dimensions before the experiment with significant difference(P < 0.05),and the rest no change the dimension.Conclusion: after 12 weeks of 12 zodiac boxing exercises,the body shape of primary school students did not change significantly,and the body function and physical quality indicators improved significantly.After 12 weeks of training of Chinese zodiac boxing,the mental health of primary school students was significantly improved.
