In order to further explore the physical exercise methods to enhance the physical fitness level of children and adolescents,to promote the scientific fitness intervention means to enhance the physical fitness level of children.This study aims at the experimental intervention research of basic martial arts training for students aged 6-8years old,and discusses the influence of 12-week basic martial arts exercise intervention on the physical fitness level of tested students from three aspects of body form,body function and physical fitness,so as to provide a new method for physical exercise and fitness of primary school students.It provides practical basis for the further development of wushu in primary school.This study adopted the method of literature,expert interview,experiment,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,and selected 40 students(40 male and 40female)aged 6-8 years old from the Eighth Primary School of Xi ’an High-tech Zone for experimental research.They were divided into experimental group and control group with the same number of people and basic physical conditions.The experimental group was carried out for 12 weeks,twice a week.The basic martial arts training lasted for 40 minutes each time,and the control group did not have additional regular physical activities.The exercise load monitoring during the experiment was mainly based on the maximum heart rate and subjective body feeling to judge fatigue.Ten indexes including height,weight,BMI,heart rate,vital capacity,10-meter run,forward bend of seated body,long throw of tennis ball,standing long jump and continuous jump of both feet were selected as experimental test indexes.The 12-week intervention significantly promoted the physical function of the tested students.After the experiment,there was no significant difference in the physical shape index of the experimental group and the control group,while the physical function index was improved compared with that before the experiment.The vital capacity index showed significant difference before and after the experiment(P<0.01),and the heart rate index showed no significant difference(P>0.05).It can be seen that the experiment has a certain promotion effect on the lung function of the tested students,and after the experiment,the lung capacity of the boys increased more than that of the girls.After the experiment,the experimental group and the control group had a significant effect on the physical fitness of the students,among which the promotion effect on the upper and lower limb muscle strength and flexibility of the male and female students was better,and the speed quality of the male students was better than that of the female students.It shows that the intensity of wushu basic skills practice can promote the physical quality of the tested students.
