Chinese Dance Course At The Confucius Institute For Traditional Chinese Medicine In London Teaching Design And Promotion Strategy

The Confucius Institute is an institution that spreads Chinese language and promotes Chinese culture.Currently there are more than 300 in the world.The main task is to promote Chinese language and traditional culture abroad,promote Chinese culture,and promote the development of world diversity.The Confucius Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in London was jointly established by Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and Harbin Normal University on behalf of the Chinese side and Southbank University in London.A course that reflects Chinese culture.During the Chinese dance teaching work at the Confucius Institute,the author found that the thinking style,cultural background,and dance style of British students are very different from those of Chinese students.This has led to the fact that the teaching modes and methods of Chinese dance courses in China are not It is completely applicable.The teaching method of treating British students needs to teach students according to their aptitudes and adapt to local conditions.Therefore,this paper uses questionnaires and interviews to analyze the teaching status,teaching needs,and the promotion status of Chinese dance courses in the Confucius Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Southbank University in London.The design of the Northeast Yangge teaching course is taken as an example.It expounded that the course was designed from the aspects of the course’s guiding ideology,course goals,design principles,course content,and teaching methods.A Chinese dance course teaching system and method suitable for British primary school students were initially established.At the same time,strategies for course promotion were proposed.In order to provide useful ideas and methods for the smooth development of Chinese dance teaching in western cultural regions,and to promote the promotion and spread of Chinese dance in the world.
