| Objective:To investigate the mechanism of influence of 4 weeks of tennis training on mobile phone dependence.Furthermore,the mechanism of the influence of two weeks of tennis training on college students’ability to suppress mobile phone ring tones was further discussed.Methods:In study 1,using the Flanker task and the mobile phone addiction tendency scale for college students,36 male and 19 female college students with low inhibitory control and high mobile phone dependence tendency were selected and randomly assigned to the control group and the experimental group.In the mixed experiment design,the independent variables between the groups were intervention types(control group VS experimental group),the independent variables within the group were the time points measured(baseline,weekend 2 and weekend 4),the dependent variables were the tendency to rely on the phone(withdrawal symptoms,salient behaviors,social comfort and mood changes),and the mediating variables were inhibition control.Exercise intensity(moderate intensity)was monitored by Polar sports tester,and the experimental group was required to complete 4 weeks of moderate intensity tennis training twice a week for 90min each time.Control group routine daily learning.mediating and dependent variables were measured at baseline,weekend 2,and weekend 4.In study 2,Study participants screening method and a basic consistent,eventually selected 21 study participants,the boy of 14,girls seven,randomly assigned into the experimental group and control group,the mix design of experiment,set between the independent variable is intervention types(control group VS experimental group),the timing of the independent variables are measured in the group(baseline,after the test),the dependent variable for inhibiting the classroom cell phone rings,mediating variable for the mobile depend on the orientation and the inhibitory control.The experimental group was required to carry out two weeks of moderate intensity tennis training twice a week for 90 minutes.Control group routine daily learning.Then,the baseline and posttest dependent and mediating variables are tested.Results:1)Tennis training as the independent variable,the five measuring point of the dependent variable and the intermediary variable repetitive measure analysis of variance,for the college students’mobile phone addiction tendency scale,a significant main effect for time[F(2,68)=44.776,P<.001,partialη~2=.568],a significant main effect for intervention[F(1,34)=14.558,P<.005,partialη~2=.300],a significant main effect for interaction;For inhibitory control,a significant main effect for time[F(2,68)=14.838,P<.001,partialη~2=.304],no significant main effect whether intervention[F(1,34)=1.917,P>.005,partialη~2=.053],a significant main effect for interaction.The results showed that 4 weeks of tennis training could reduce the tendency of college students to rely on mobile phones and improve the ability of inhibitory control.2)conduct correlation analysis on the change amount of the intermediary variable that may cause the change of the dependent variable,and examine the mechanism of tennis training to reduce the tendency of college students to rely on mobile phones.The results showed that the change in inhibition control from baseline to week 4 was significantly positively correlated with the change in the mobile phone dependency tendency scale(r=.475,p<.05).The results show that the improvement of inhibitory control ability is the mechanism of tennis training to reduce college students’tendency to rely on mobile phones.3)Whether to tennis training intervention for the independent variables between groups,with a pretest of the dependent variable as the covariate,multi-factor analysis of variance was carried out on the test after the dependent variable,the results found that group*whether interfere with the significant main effect[F=5.201,P=.030,partialη~2=2.144];Taking tennis training as an independent variable,univariate covariance analysis was conducted on the mediating variable measured before and after tennis training.The results showed that the difference of total scale score was statistically significant(F=56.758,P=000).The differences in inhibitory control performance were statistically significant(F=21.429,P=.000).The results showed that 2 weeks of tennis training could improve the inhibition ability,dependence tendency and inhibition control of college students’cell phone ring tones in class.4)conduct correlation analysis on the change amount of the intermediary variable that may cause the change of the dependent variable,and test the mechanism of tennis training to enhance the suppression ability of college students’mobile phone ring tones in class.The results showed that the change in the mobile phone dependence tendency scale from baseline to posttest was significantly negatively correlated with the change in the accuracy of interference questions(r=-.769,p<.05).The results show that the reduction of the tendency of mobile phone dependence is the mechanism of tennis training to improve college students’ability to suppress mobile phone ring tones in class.Conclusion:tennis training can reduce the tendency of mobile phone dependence of this group by enhancing the ability of inhibitory control.Tennis training can improve the group’s ability to suppress ring tones in class by reducing the tendency to rely on mobile phones. |
