Objective: To observe the effects of unilateral and bilateral training modes on the strength, explosive power and skating performance of ice hockey players, and to compare and analyze the differences in the training effects of the two training modes. Methods: Twenty female ice hockey players from the Chinese Ice Hockey Association were recruited as subjects in this study and randomly divided into unilateral training group(experimental group)and bilateral training group(control group). The experiment lasted 8 weeks. The control group received bilateral lower limb training, and the experimental group received unilateral lower limb training. Before and after 8 weeks, the two groups of subjects were tested for various indicators of land and ice mobility.Results:(1)Compared with before the experiment, there was no significant improvement in the CMJ and the circle skating in the experimental group(P> 0.05);the left leg jump and the blue line shuttle skating had a very significant improvement(P <0.01);The right leg jump and the 30-meter sprint increase on the ice are significant(P <0.05).In the control group, the improvement of left leg jump, right leg jump, blue line shuttle skating and circle skating were not significant(P> 0.05);CMJ performances were significantly improved(P <0.01);on ice the 30-meter sprint has a significant improvement(P <0.05).(2)Compared with the control group, the blue line shuttle skating performance of the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.05);compared with the experimental group, the CMJ performance of the control group was significantly improved.Conclusions:(1)Unilateral training can significantly improve the ability of the30-meter sprint and blue line shuttle skating on the ice,and bilateral training can significantly improve the ability of the 30-meter sprint on the ice.(2)Unilateral training can significantly improve the ability of one leg to jump, and bilateral training can significantly improve the ability of CMJ.(3)The improvement of the blue line shuttle skating is better in unilateral training than bilateral training. The improvement of CMJ has better effect in bilateral training.
