Purpose of the study: In order to improve the physical and mental health of young children and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the Party and the government have formulated the strategy of Chinese medicine entering the campus and Wushu entering the campus,in order to improve the physical and mental health of young children and enhance patriotic enthusiasm.However,it is particularly important to promote a set of exercises that can fully achieve the above-mentioned goals,since children are naturally lively and have heavy schoolwork loads.This paper attempts to verify the effect of Children’s Baduanjin on the body and mind of primary school students and the feasibility of its development in primary schools through empirical research,implementing the Strategic Service of "Wushu enters campus" and "traditional Chinese medicine enters campus".Methodology: In this study,25 students in the Physical Health Club class of Huoying Primary School in Beijing were selected as the experimental group and 25 students in the drawing club class as the control group.The Experimental Group did Children’s Baduanjin for 50 minutes 3 times a week for 12 weeks.The indexes of physical and mental health were tested before and after the experiment,and the test data were compared between and within groups.Results: 1.There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the Control Group in height and weight(P>0.05).2.In terms of physical function,the vital capacity of experimental group had very significant difference after Experiment(P<0.01),the Control Group had no significant difference(P>0.05);The contrast between groups showed significant difference(P<0.05).3.In the physical quality,there were significant differences in sit-up,cross quadrant jump,one-leg stand with eyes closed and forward bend of Sitting Posture(P<0.01),50-meter Run(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the Control Group(P>0.05),there were significant differences in forward flexion of sitting posture(P<0.01),vital capacity,cross quadrant jump and single leg stand with eyes closed(P<0.05),there was no significant difference other indexes(P>0.05).4.In the psychological aspect,there were significant differences in emotional disorder,character defect,social adaptation disorder,moral defect,behavior disorder and special disorder in Experimental Group(P<0.01),the control group had no significant difference(P<0.05)except for the Social Adaptation Disorder,there were significant differences in emotional disorder,personality disorder,social adaptation disorder,moral defect and behavior disorder among groups(P<0.05).Research Conclusion: 1.Children’s Baduanjin exercise can improve the vital capacity,balance quality,flexibility quality,coordination quality and sensitivity quality of 8-9-year-old pupils.2.Children’s Baduanjin is helpful to develop students positive,fearless difficulties,self-discipline,self-esteem,patriotism,and promote the social adaptability of primary school students.3.Children’s Baduanjin exercise for children in line with 8-9-year-old students physical and mental development characteristics,and is very suitable for the form of community classes. |
