Research On The Cultivation Of Professional Quality Of Students Majoring In Tourism Management In Higher Vocational Education

In recent years,with the rapid development of china’s economy,the financial revenue is growing and people’s living standard is improving continuously,more and more people begin to pursue the better life.Free and easy tourism activity is popular with Chinese,and it also promotes the development of china’s tourism industry,the tourism industry has entered a prosperous stages.Under the background of this era,the demand of tourism industry for professional talents is increasing day by day,the original professional quality can not meet the current growing demand for personalized tourism,and there are new requirements and standards for the professional quality of tourism staff,it is not only the expectation of tourism enterprises,but also the important task of colleges to improve the professional quality of students and cultivate high-quality employees.,especially at this stage,it is important to cultivate the professional quality of vocational college students under the background of enrollment expansion of one million higher vocational students.This paper mainly discusses about the cultivation of professional quality of students majoring in tourism management in higher vocational education,and analyzes the existing problem of professional quality of students and cultivation of professional quality of college majoring in tourism management by means of literature analysis,interview,questionnaire survey and descriptive statistics.From the survey data of tourism enterprises,teachers and students,we can found that the problems of students’ professional quality are as follows:professional ethics is low,professional knowledge is insufficient,professional ability is lacking,in the aspect of cultivation of professional quality,there are mainly problems such as :school curriculum setting is unreasonable,teaching method is single,the assessment and evaluation system of professional quality is imperfect,the quality of school-enterprise cooperation is low.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes that we can guide students to recognize their professional quality correctly by clarifying the learning purpose,cultivating practical ability and establishing correct values,and strengthen the construction of the cultivation of professional quality by improving the curriculum system,building a scientific and effective evaluation system,building a professional teaching staff and carrying out professional quality expansion activities,at same time,it proposes that we can strengthen the guidance of the government and perfecting the mechanism of cooperation in running schools to solve the problems of school-enterprise cooperation.
