As we all know,reading is a very important part of Chinese subject.In the learning process of students,reading occupies a large amount of time.Reading can not only help students better understand information and better write and express,but also greatly promote students to learn cultural knowledge,enhance aesthetic ability,promote thinking development and develop humanistic quality.However,with the development of information technology,people’s reading methods have changed greatly,and shallow reading phenomenon emerges one after another,making students’ reading become mere formality and superficial.Learning to read and to read deeply are the main ways to solve the current reading problems.In this study,through the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview,taking 6 primary schools in S district of Chongqing city as examples,primary school students of grade 5 and 6 and Chinese teachers of grade 5 and 6 as research objects,the problems existing in the process of deep reading of high-grade primary school students are understood.This study is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction of this paper.This part mainly explains the reason and significance of the study,then defines the relevant core concepts on the basis of previous studies on in-depth reading,and finally determines the theoretical basis and evaluation dimensions of this article.The second part is the research and design of this thesis.This part includes the research objectives,objects,contents,methods and research ideas of this paper.The third part is a Investigation of the current situation of the High segment primary school students in S district of Chongqing.SPSS17.0 was used to process and analyze the questionnaire data of High segment primary school students’ deep reading in Chinese,and the results of the Investigation were obtained: the overall situation of High segment primary school students’ deep Chinese reading is not very good.Different grades,class cadres,only children parents’ reading habits,parents’ educational background and different types of schools have significant statistical differences in various have significant statistical differences in various dimensions of Chinese deep reading.The fourth part is the analysis of the problems and causes of the High segment primary school students’ deep reading in Chinese.On the basis of the current situation Investigation results,combined with teacher interviews,classroom observation and relevant theories,the paper makes an in-depth analysis and reflection on the reasons behind the problems existing in High segment primary school students’ in-depth reading of Chinese.The fifth part mainly starts with the previous problems,in view of the reasons,puts forward specific strategies,including students to actively participate in reading,teachers to improve their ability,parents to create a learning atmosphere,schools and the government to provide strong protection.Through this study,we have made it clear that the realization of in-depth reading requires the efforts and full cooperation of students,teachers,parents,schools and the government.
