Curriculum has always been the core issue of vocational education.For a long time,vocational education has followed the subject curriculum model.Most vocational schools,especially secondary vocational schools,have separated the curriculum from the actual work and the theory from the practice,which makes the quality of personnel training not high.The work process-oriented curriculum model makes up for the defects of the traditional vocational education curriculum,practice has proved that the work process-oriented curriculum has advantages and effects.It has been developed and promoted rapidly in China,providing theoretical and practical support for curriculum reform of vocational education.As one of the core courses of tourism major in secondary vocational schools,"on-site tour guide" is a key course to train the important professional ability of tour guide’s explanation.Due to the constraints of the discipline system,the current course is biased towards theory and focuses on the examination of tour guide qualification certificate.Carrying out the curriculum reform of "on-site tour guide" is an important way to cultivate and improve tour guide’s explanation ability.Kunming L school is a secondary vocational school for tourism.This study takes Kunming L school’s tour guide service major and its professional course "on-site tour guide" as a case to develop and practice based on the theory of work process-oriented curriculum.With a view to improving the content and teaching methods of the "on-site tour guide" course,exploring the ideas and methods of curriculum reform for tourism major in secondary vocational schools,promoting the gradual improvement of the quality of personnel training.Based on combing the research status at home and abroad,understand the theory and development route of the work process-oriented curriculum deeply.Through the investigation and research of enterprise needs,work tasks and the course survey in the school,analyze the features and current status of the course "On-site Guide".Discuss the applicability of the work process orientation to the course design,specificallydescribe the tour guide to explain typical work tasks,and then design the "on-site tour guide" course.The implementation of action-oriented teaching through teaching cases,the practical results show that action-oriented teaching can improve students’ learning interest,learning effect satisfaction and improving capability more than traditional teaching.After a series of studies,put forward the safeguard measures for the implementation of the work process-oriented curriculum.
