With the promulgation of the Kindergarten Teacher Professional Standards(Trial),people have higher and higher requirements for preschool teachers,Kindergarten teachers also need to have higher quality.As one of the important educational activities in kindergarten,art activities also indicate new challenges.Organizer of children’s art activities and art education enlightener,preschool teachers need to have high art quality.This study takes the teachers of 6 kindergartens in C City as the survey objects to investigate the level of artistic quality of preschool teachers.According to the topic of "National Art Literacy" and Wang Yujie’s definition of the concept of art quality,this study divides the art quality of preschool teachers into the three dimensions of art emotional attitude and values,art knowledge and art ability.Test the artistic quality of preschool teachers,and compare the differences of preschool teachers’ artistic quality under the demographic variables.The study found that the overall art quality of preschool teachers is at the middle level,there are differences in the three dimensions and the overall level of art quality is significantly different in age,major,kindergarten nature and kindergarten level.The researchers found the realistic level of the art quality and analyzed the reasons.The reasons are in the level of preschool teachers themselves: the lack of understanding of art activities,weak awareness of art learning,the lack of understanding of art needs;in the kindergarten level: the lack of training of teachers’ art knowledge,and the lack of assessment of preschool teachers’ art activities.According to the problems and reasons,the researchers put forward suggestions to improve the artistic quality of preschool teachers from the two levels of kindergarten and teachers themselves: change the concept of teachers,establish the correct concept of children and education;and preschool teachers to establish the concept of independent learning and strengthen cultural learning.At the kindergarten level: attach importance to the kindergarten teachers training,strengthen the combination of theory and practice;the kindergarten to strengthen the teacher kindergarten curriculum education,and conduct regular assessment.
