As the initial stage of education,early childhood education occupies an important position in the national education system.With the continuous development of economy and society,people’s demand for high-quality pre-school education is also increasing.It is urgent to build a kindergarten teacher team with love for children,noble teachers’ethics,excellent business and reasonable structure.The reasonable structure here contains the specific requirements of adjusting and optimizing the gender structure.In recent years,under the guidance and support of the party and national policies,male kindergarten teachers began to mount the education stage in the new era as a new teacher team.The living status,social recognition and professional identity of male kindergarten teachers have become a hot issue in the development of preschool education theory and practice.In order to respond to this problem realistically,this paper chooses the professional status of male teachers in public kindergartens for research,and follows the following research ideas.Firstly,it defines the core concept of male kindergarten teachers from the theoretical level.This paper summarizes the professional identity,professional survival and professional status of male kindergarten teachers.At the same time,the research on this problem in multi-layer theory field of vision,and to use the western feminism about the role of social gender and related research and domestic theory of career identity and development as well as the comprehensive model theory relative to the forefront of career,so as to build a current status of public kindergarten male teachers the theoretical basis of the real problem.Secondly,this paper makes an empirical research on the professional status of male teachers in public kindergartens in W District of S City,and makes a detailed investigation from four aspects:personal feature,working condition,spare time life and development prospect.This paper summarizes the difficulties of the research objects,such as stable income but great disparity in workload,professional class born but not high education background,abundant leisure activities but insufficient development motivation,many pressure sources and low overall professional identity,limited teaching staff and uneven regional distribution,extensive work alliance but poor actual effect.It also analyzes the causes from four aspects:the "wrong policy" in the upper macro field,the "deficiency" in the social career field,the the "Inaction" in the personal reality field.Finally,from the three dimensions of "state society individual",this paper puts forward the realistic path to promote the professional status of male teachers in public kindergartens,which includes the guidance of macro policies at the national level,the formulation of relevant systems to protect the legitimate rights and interests,the promotion of social concern at the social level,the expansion of career development space,and the transformation of professional concepts at the individual level,and the scientific planning of career development routes.
