| The first grade of primary school is an important beginning for children to start their school life with learning as the main task.The admission adaptability of the first grade of primary school students is closely related to their later learning and physical and mental development.The maladjusted children will seriously affect their learning effect and mental health level.The Guidelines for Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary schools(2012 revision)pointed out that it is necessary to help lower grade students to adapt to the new environment,collective and learning life,which shows the importance of adaptation to lower grade students.At present,most researches focus on the status quo,cause analysis and promotion strategies of freshmen’s admission adaptation,and few studies intervene in freshmen’s admission adaptation.In this study,group psychological counseling was used to intervene the admission adaptation of rural first-year boarding freshmen,and the effect of intervention was tested.In this study,an experimental intervention study was carried out on 156first-grade freshmen in a township primary school in Heqing County.34 students were selected from 84 first-grade boarding freshmen,17 of whom were experimental group and 17 of whom were control group.The research tools are the subscale of school adaptation for primary school grades 1-2 in the Complete Scale of School Adaptation for Chinese Primary and Secondary School Students compiled by Jiang Guangong et al.(2017)and the self-compiled group counseling program for the adaptation of first-grade boarding freshmen.Starting from the sixth week after school,the experimental group was subjected to a total of eight 1-hour group counseling interventions each time,and before and after the group counseling intervention,the first-grade boarding freshmen of the experimental group and the control group were tested and tested for differences.SPSS 22 system was used for statistical analysis of the collected data and information.The results showed that :(1)about 52% of the first-year boarding freshmen had a lower than average level of adaptation;(2)There is a significant difference in the gender variable of enrollment adaptation.The score of male students in the overall enrollment adaptation and social adaptation dimension is significantly lower than that of female students,and female students have a better enrollment adaptation;(3)After intervention,the overall level of admission adjustment of the experimental group was significantly improved in three dimensions of learning adaptation,social adaptation and individual adaptation.Through thisgroup psychological counseling to a large extent to improve the freshman boarding adaptability. |
