| With the economic development,the globalization process is accelerating.To obtain greater profits,multinational corporations have started to aggressively expand their overseas markets based on their own homeland,and have successively set up factories in other countries.In this environment,to better meet the requirements of local economic,cultural and political development,multinational corporations must implement a localization strategy.Since the reform and opening,China has continuously eased various policies,and provided a good political and economic environment for multinational corporations in our country.According to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics of China,3895 foreign-funded enterprises have been set up in China since 1985,and these foreign companies have played an excellent role in promoting the development of China’s economy.However,due to the political,economic and cultural differences between different countries,MNCs are generally faced with "acclimatization" after they enter China.Therefore,it has great significance to study how MNCs adjust their own strategies and localize their strategies in a new social environment,which is of great importance to the healthy and steady development of MNCs in our country.K Company is a foreign company based in China,it provides labor software management in workforce industry.Reviewed K’s 10-years operation experience of entering China,it has gathered a certain amount of experience,and facing its own localization problem which is same with many other MNCs.Especially in the aspect of localization strategy management.This article chooses K Company as the object of case study,and adopts the combination method of quantitative and qualitative research.Reviewed K Company’s 10 years’ operation experience,deeply analysis its internal and external chance and challenge,in the aspect of its internal strategy planning and business development process.Including promotion of brand awareness;facing to local customer’s unfamiliar and query;how our product can be innovated and closer to local customer’s need;respond to the threat from competitors.Based on fully studying and learning from the advanced experience and practices of domestic and MNC’s localization strategies,this article combines K Company’s actual situation,reconstructs K Company’s localization strategy.We hope that the new strategy can guide the future development of K Company,meanwhile,we can provide some reference value for other multinational companies when they are also formulating their localization strategy.From the overall structure of this article,its research content mainly includes:The first chapter is the introduction.This part focus on the article’s research background,research purpose and significance,the main content and research methods,at the same time,it summarizes the research status from local China and overseas countries.The second chapter summarizes related theories,mainly introduces the concept,classify,and meaning of localization strategy,meantime,the article summarizes its own related theory.The third chapter describes K Company’s background and current strategy management situation,analysis its problem of strategy and operation management in local China.This chapter uses SWOT analysis tools to analyze its internal and external environment of the company,which provides the basis for the formulation of the later local strategy.The fourth chapter is the formulation of K Company’s localization Strategy,this part first points out the necessity of implementing localization strategy of K Company.Firstly,this chapter points out the goals and principles of K Company’s localization strategy.Based on this,from the aspects of marketing,brand,product,and enterprise culture and so on,article put forward implement suggestions for K Company,at the same time,article also raised corresponding safeguard measures to make sure the method can be smoothly carried out.The fifth chapter summarizes K Company’s localization strategy in this transition period,and look ahead the detailed management road of labor intensive companies in the future. |
