| As an indispensable part of the curriculum reform,homework still hasn’t received much attention from teachers.The situation of homework design reflects homework quality while the quality affects the development of students since the high-quality design could intensify students’ responsibilities so as to reinforce their learning behaviors and mental qualities.Under the guidance of Zone of Proximal Development,The Theory of Life Education and Independent Learning Theory,this thesis conducts a research on middle-grade teachers and students in three primary schools in Jinzhou through literature,case analysis,communication and investigation based on their real situation.The thesis is divided into six parts.The first part is an introduction which outlines the basic of topic selection,theoretical basis and significance and thoughts of the research,defining related concepts as well as references about homework design.The second part is the investigation on current situation,including five aspects which are basic information,design concept,workload,homework type and homework content.With a left-behind design concept,heavy workload,single form and poor content,the existing problems on homework design are put forward in the third part.The forth part explores the reasons behind from the perspectives of education,teaching and students,and finds out that the score-oriented teaching concept biased their understanding on homework design,neglecting status of students.In the fifth part,thoughts about optimized strategies of homework design are given,which suggest teachers design homework that is conducive to students’ all-round development and maintain the subjectivity of students based on their understandings.The last part is the conclusion of the thesis,presenting the process and results of the research and demonstrating the deficiencies and expectations on homework design.The research aims to optimize the homework design of middle-grade students in primary schools.On one hand,it benefits the improvement of teachers’ homework concept and enhances the idea of new curriculum reform.On the other hand,it attempts to release the burden on students as well as increase their initiatives on learning. |
