Purpose: competitive aerobics is a sport marked by the combination of difficult movements and the innovation of exercise unit movements.with the development of this sport,it has higher and higher requirements for the physical quality of athletes. As a difficult and beautiful event, competitive aerobics requires athletes to have a good strength foundation and the ability to do work quickly. As a relatively new resistance training method, cluster set(CS)has been proved to be of positive significance in improving muscle strength and explosive power in many studies. Therefore, this study takes the group training with a specific load as the research object, and compares it with the traditional set(TS)to explore the influence of group training on the lower limb muscle strength and explosive force of college female competitive aerobics athletes before the competition,so as to provide a new idea for designing the optimal resistance training plan. Methods: by using the methods of literature, experiment and mathematical statistics,20 female aerobics students majoring in physical education in Wuhan Institute of physical Education were recruited as experimental subjects.Twenty subjects were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 10)and control group(n = 10).Both the experimental group and the control group were trained with 75%1RM load. The training amount of the two groups was the same(24 repetitions)and the total interval was the same(540s).Among them, the control group adopted the traditional sets structure(TS),sets structure was arranged as follows: 4 sets, each set repeated 6 times, the interval between groups was 180 s.The experimental group was divided into 4 groups with 6 repeats in each group. The interval of repetition in each group was 12 s and the interval between groups was 120 s.The cluster set(CS)was divided into 4 groups. After 8 weeks, three times a week training intervention, the kinematics(in-situ vertical jump height,two-stage jump distance,10 yd sprint)and dynamics(peak torque, average speed, peak speed, average power, peak power)of the subjects’ muscle strength and explosive force were tested. The test data were collected by manual measurement and instrument analysis, and statistical analysis was carried out by using statistical software(SPSS25.0).Results:(1)After 8 weeks of training, the maximum muscle strength(1RM)of CS and TS increased significantly compared with before intervention(P=0.00),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)The kinematic indicators of CS and TS after intervention training(CMJ flight height, second jump distance, average speed, peak speed, time to peak speed, time to peak power)were significantly higher than before intervention(P =0.00);After intervention training,CS’s vertical jump height, average speed, peak speed, peak speed and peak power time are significantly greater than TS;after intervention training, there is no second-level jump distance between CS and TS Significant difference(P>0.05).(3)The dynamic indexes(peak torque, peak power, total work)after CS and TS intervention training were significantly higher than those before intervention(P=0.00);after intervention training,CS peak power and average work performance were both significant Greater than TS(P=0.00),there is no significant difference in peak torque(P>0.05);(4)The RPE values of CS and TS after intervention training are significantly lower than before intervention training,CS(P=0.001),TS(P=0.00);the RPE value of CS is lower than TS before and after intervention training.Conclusion:(1)in the pre-competition preparation period,CS training can be used as a supplement to strength training to increase the diversity of resistance training in order to improve the adaptability of muscles in different intervals.(2)under the same load(75%1RM)and training volume(a total of 24 repetitions),CS can complete the training more easily and obtain the maximum strength(1RM)gain similar to that of TS,which may be applicable to beginners in resistance training or athletes who try to introduce new training stimuli.(3)the group training three times a week in the preparation period before the competition(group structure: 4 groups, each group repeated 6 times, each group repeated for 12 s,interset interval 120s)can effectively improve the performance of muscle explosive power(horizontal and vertical direction).(3)the group training in the preparation period for 8 weeks, three times a week(group structure: 4 groups, each group repeated 6times,within each group repeated 12 s,inter-group interval 120s).(4)the group training was carried out 3 times a week for 8 weeks before the competition(the structure of the group was 4 groups, each group was repeated 6 times, the interval between groups was 12 s,and the interval between groups was 120s).It is of positive significance to maintain the stability of action speed and output power.(5)the low fatigue property of CS may help to improve the muscle endurance of lower limbs and keep the movement more stable in the follow-up exercise.
