At present,whether it is under the guidance of the education environment or the social posts that urgently need skilled talents,vocational education has once again ushered in a new era of development.As an important part of vocational education,secondary vocational education directly affects the overall development trend of vocational education.As far as the development of secondary vocational education is concerned,teaching is its foundation.The educational concept of STEAM focuses on cultivating students’ interdisciplinary thinking in order to improve their basic skills and comprehensive abilities.The better implementation of the computer Application Foundation course in secondary vocational schools must rely on the teaching of secondary vocational courses which meet the requirements of the talent training program of secondary vocational education,suitable for the ability and development of secondary vocational school students,and combined with all kinds of specific skills of social posts.The social orientation of secondary vocational school students is a technical talent who can meet the requirements of the post.The docking of the educational concept of STEAM and the training standard of secondary vocational education is the inevitable trend of the reform of vocational education in our country.This research aims to integrate the STEAM education concept with the teaching of "Computer Application Fundamentals" in secondary vocational schools,learn from the characteristics and advantages of the STEAM education concept,and construct a secondary vocational teaching design based on the STEAM concept.And on the basis of this model combined with the "Computer Application Fundamentals" course to form a teaching design,to provide a reference for subsequent teaching practice writing teaching design.In this study uses questionnaires,interviews,observations,and action research methods to support various stages of research.First,by consulting relevant documents,we understand the current situation of STEAM education research in my country and the application of STEAM concepts in secondary vocational education,and provide theories for this research.basis.Then conduct a survey on the status quo of a secondary vocational school in Guangxi to understand the current application of STEAM concepts in secondary vocational schools and the cultivation of students’ interdisciplinary thinking,and provide a basis for designing secondary vocational teaching design based on STEAM concepts.Then three rounds of teaching practice were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the STEAM-based teaching design in this research through experimental results.Finally,in response to the feedback of the teaching practice stage,the teaching design is improved and summarized,and the implementation suggestions of the teaching design based on the STEAM concept are put forward,so as to provide relevant references for the secondary vocational school to carry out the STEAM concept teaching and cultivate students’ interdisciplinary thinking ability.
