With urban migrant workers of the first generation quitting the stage, the new generation quietly boarded the city stage and became the main part of all migrant workers. On January 31,2010, the term "the new generation of urban migrant workers" appeared in the Central No 1. Document The Opinions on Strengthening the Dynamics of Balancing Urban and Rural development and Further tamping the foundation of Agricultural and Rural Development issued by the State Council, in which targeted measures were required to solve the problems of migrant workers and centizenlize the new generation of urban migrant workers. Form then on, the problems of urban migrant workers started to attract public attention. The new generation of urban migrant workers has many advantages compared with their elder generation, with improved educational level, high abilities to accept new things and strong desire for the urban life. According to the survey, the author, taking Kuiwen District of Weifang as the site for investigation and research and deeply interviewing 10 urban migrant workers of the new generation in Kuiwen District, found that it is much easier for the new generation to integrate into cities than their elder generation with the benefits in their children's education and social security; however, the characteristics of themselves and their social environment also influenced the process of integrating into cities, for example, the age characteristics leading to their emotional loneliness and the high house price in cities making their own houses unreachable. From the deep level, the new generation of urban migrant workers only entered into the city gate without really integrating into cities. The author believes that the smooth integration of the new generation of urban migrant workers needs the policy support of the county to raise their income level, the harmonious and fair environment, and the improvement of their own quality with the professional skills and the healthy and positive attitude.
