| Employment is the biggest livelihood of the people.Achieving higher quality and fuller employment has always been an important issue of national concern.At present,the new generation of migrant workers has become an important force in China’s employment force,and their employment status is related to economic development and social stability.As an important part of lifelong education,continuing education shoulders the important mission of improving the employability of the new generation of migrant workers and promoting the employment adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers.However,as the content and mechanism of continuing education for the new generation of migrant workers have not been improved,and the effectiveness of continuing education is not prominent,a variety of maladjustment problems such as low self-esteem,anxiety and boredom are still common in the employment process of the new generation of migrant workers,which directly affect the work quality and living conditions of the new generation of migrant workers.Based on this,this study takes the new generation of migrant workers in Linyi City as the research object,specifically analyzes the continuing education of the new generation of migrant workers in Linyi City,which has a population of 12 million and is relatively concentrated in migrant workers,focuses on exploring the problems existing in the process of Continuing Education to promote the employment adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers,and puts forward targeted education improvement suggestions to promote the high-quality employment of the new generation of migrant workers.Based on the relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars and under the guidance of adult education theory,using the method of empirical research,532 new generation migrant workers in Linyi City were investigated by questionnaire from the five dimensions of continuing education promoting the cognitive adaptation,skill adaptation,interpersonal adaptation,psychological adaptation and development adaptation.At the same time,eight new generation migrant workers were selected for in-depth interviews.The survey found that continuing education plays an important role in promoting the employment adaptation of the new generation of migrant workers,but there are still some problems,mainly manifested in: weak guidance of post value and deviation of work cognition;Lack of pertinence in educational content and lack of knowledge and skills;Poor interpersonal guidance and communication skills;Lack of self debugging methods,negative emotions and difficulty relief;The effectiveness of lifelong learning guidance is not high,and the awareness of self-development is not strong.In order to improve the employment adaptation level of the new generation of migrant workers,in view of the above current situation and difficulties,from the perspective of continuing education,this paper puts forward five improvement strategies.First,correctly regulate career development and promote cognitive adaptation;Second,knowledge and skills are promoted simultaneously to promote skill adaptation;Third,attach importance to social communication education and promote interpersonal adaptation;Fourth,pay attention to mental health education and promote psychological adaptation;Fifth,cultivate lifelong learning ability and promote development and adaptation. |
