Although Britain has been stressing the importance of vocational education in recent years,the shortage of skilled personnel has been a problem with its economic development.The“2017 Employer Skills Survey”found that there are still a large number of job vacancies in the UK due to a lack of skills in the workforce.The mismatch between British labor and market demand is closely related to Britain’s long-standing tradition of gentlemen education.As a modern extension of gentleman education,general education has dominated the Education field in UK under the gentleman education tradition.The UK has carried out A-level curriculum system reforms to implement the gentleman education tradition and consolidate the status of general education.However,the over-emphasis on general education has led to a skills shortage problem of Britain.Therefore,the government has gradually realized the urgency of improving the status of vocational education,which also provides motivation for the emergence of vocational education-oriented T-Level curriculum system.On the whole,from the proposal and reform of A-level curriculum system to the launch of T-level Curriculum system embodies the concept of the equal Emphasis on General Education and Vocational Education reform.This ideology is the result of the contradiction between the social reality and the educational tradition in England.Therefore,this research is based on the main line of education reform with equal emphasis on general education and vocational education in the UK,and analyzes the background,objectives,content,organization and evaluation of A-Level and T-Level curriculum system,as well as the background,development and internal logic of the national qualification framework.And on this basis,exploring the reform trend and problems under the thought of British education reform.At the same time,studying the curriculum system reform and its existing problems will provide a new way to re-examine and improve the status of vocational education in China.The thesis is divided into five part:The first part.The formation of the education reform thought.Starting from the specific social and historical period of Britain,this paper analyzes the educational reform thoughts and specific measures in the specific period of Britain.On this basis,it summarizes the formation process of curriculum system reform thought in Britain.The second part.The chapter analysis A-level curriculum system reform under the background of paying equal attention to general and vocational education.Based on the education reform idea of paying equal attention to general and vocational education,this paper analyzes the specific reform of A-level curriculum system from the aspects of the objectives,organization,content and evaluation of the curriculum system.And the paper further discusses the practical significance and role of A-level curriculum system reform under the reform background of paying equal attention to general and vocational education.The third part.This paper analyzes the T-level curriculum system reform under the background of paying equal attention to general and vocational education.Based on the education reform idea of paying equal attention to general and vocational education,this paper analyzes the specific reform of T-level curriculum system from the aspects of the objectives,organization,content and evaluation of the curriculum system.And the paper further discusses the practical significance and role of T-level curriculum system reform under the reform background of paying equal attention to general and vocational education.The fourth part.The supporting mechanism of the education reform of paying equal attention to general and Vocational Education: national qualification framework.This paper analyzes the background,historical evolution and development of the British national qualification framework,analyzes the theoretical basis and internal logic of the realization of paying equal attention to general and vocational education under the background of British national qualification framework,and probes into the integration mechanism and specific implementation of British national qualification framework on the basis of analyzing.The fifth part.The present status and experience of curriculum system reform under the background of paying equal attention to general and vocational education.According to the collected data,this paper analyzes the practice of education reform under the background of paying equal attention to general and vocational education.On the basis of combining with the social background in a specific period,it analyzes the experiences,deficiencies and reform trend of curriculum system reform from the perspectives of education selection,education evaluation and education equity.
